Do you find it also convenient? Yes, sir.

For today's lesson we are going to tackle about sir stretching of arms, movement of the
the FITT Principle and workout program hands and feet and others.

For our review we will just going to discuss the Yes, sir.
exercise principles, specifically the importance or
the purpose. This exercise principles are actually
a guide for those learners who want to improve
their body. Exercise Principles are guide or rules
that we need to follow upon planning exercise
routine.

At the end of the lesson, students should be able

to:
a. understand the exercise principles on
designing a personalized fitness program
b. reflect on the importance of
maintaining a fit body
c. demonstrate the F.I.T.T. Principle of
athlete

B. Interaction:

Here are the different training principles.

Kindly identify these Exercise Training

Principles

1. Overload Principle
2. Specificity Principle
3. Principles of Progression
4. Reversibility Principles
5. F.I.T.T. Principle

and I want to emphasize that those principles are

our guide that we need to follow in making a Sir, increase of, workload type, duration.
workout program. Sir, depends what we need to improve.
Sir, adding weights every workout.
A workout program refers to our exercise routine Sir, if you stopped the result will be
that we need to perform or follow if we want to reversed
improve certain parts of our body. Sir, stands for Frequency, Intensity, Time
and Type.

Alright so let's start with the first Principle which

is Overload Principle, so what is overload
principle based on this picture?

image4.jpg ...

Sir, the man is thin but eventually gained

muscles.

That's right. Overload principle - to continually

work harder as the body adjust to the existing
workouts.

Alright so how about in this picture? What does

the girl wants to improve?

Sir, her biceps and chest.

correct. Specificity principle - Exercise should

match the body muscles being developed.

Principle of progression

The increase in workload should be constant but

gradual.

Alright in the next principle I want you to

picture this scenario wherein this lady wants to
improve her chest and biceps. And so, the girl do
push up 10 reps everyday for a week but then
there was no improvement. What do you think is
the problem?
Sir, because she did only 10 reps everydays
Alright correct.

instead of adding more workload

How about this picture?

Sir his body is different from the first
picture. I think he stopped exercising.

Correct. If you stopped the result will be

reversed.

What is F.I.T.T. stands for?

Frequency -How often you exercise?

Intensity - How hard you exercise?
Time - How long you exercise?
Type -What kind of exercise you do?
Before applying those principles, what are the
different principles again?
Overload Principle
Specificity Principle
Principles of Progression
Reversibility Principles
C. Integration: F.I.T.T Principle

To elaborate the discussion we will be having a

group activity:

Transitions

1. You will be group into four. Then form a

circle. 2.We will be having a draw lots and

you will be given a Filipino/International athletes

to assess.

3. Search for the FITT Principle of your assigned

athlete. Write it on a 1 whole sheet of paper as
well as the members
