JUDICIAL AFFIDAVIT

I, FRITZ IVERZON TORRES y DOMINGO, of legal age, Filipino and resident of

San Nicolas, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya, after having been sworn to in accordance with law
hereby depose and state that:

I have freely, voluntarily given my truthful answers to the questions asked by ATTY.
RHYCE V. LIM at Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya without being coached or intimidated in giving
my answers. The questions were asked in tagalog language which I can speak and understand
and which were faithfully translated to English in this document that I signed.

Preliminaries:

Mr. Fritz Iverzon Torres y Domingo, I would like to inform you that you were invited to
this Police Station to shed light on the investigation being conducted regarding a shooting
incident allegedly committed by Mr. Lazar Edeleanu at Brgy. San Nicolas this municipality on
the night of November 15, 2022. Further, I would like to inform you that under law,
you have the following rights:

1. right to remain silent

2. right to be assisted by a counsel of your own choice and that if you could not afford the
services of one, the government will provide one for you
3. right against self-incrimination

Finally, I advise you to tell the truth and nothing but the whole truth in this investigation and that
anything you may state might be used for in your favor or against you in any court proceeding.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Q1: Please state your name and personal circumstances for the record.
A1: I am FRITZ IVERZON D. TORRES, 22 years of age and presently residing at
Barangay San Nicolas, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya. (Witness shows his
Identification Card which is hereby presented as exhibit “A”)

Q2: How are you, how is your mental health?

A2: I’m good sir but nervous as well

Q3: Were you forced, coerced or promised of a reward in any kind in order to give
your statements?
A3: No, I am not

Q4: You said you reside now in Barangay San Nicolas?

A4: Yes, I reside in Barangay San Nicolas

Q5: On the night of November 15, 2022, where were you?

A5: I arrived home from SAINT MARY’s UNIVERSITY 7:30PM in the evening of
November 15, 2022 and stayed at our veranda till 1 AM.

Q6: I understand that you stayed home the whole night. Are you aware of any
untoward incident that transpired at Purok 04, Barangay San Nicolas,
Bayombong?
A6: Yes sir. It was a shooting incident wherein Mr. Lazar Edeleanu shoot twice the
head Mr. Leonard Pickard
 Q7: Could you narrate briefly the incident?
A7: It goes like this sir, the night of November 15 th 2022 at around 10PM while I was
reviewing my notes for our exam, Mr. Lazar and Mr. Leonard were having a
drink outside the house of Mr. Lazar which is visibly clear for me to see for they
were just 7 meters away from our house and they were very noisy and playing
cards on their table with some money involved. They were having fun at first but
things came out of hand when Mr. Lazar seemed to be losing. They began
shouting and arguing with one another, the argument became louder when Mr.
Leonard did not want to continue the game anymore and he turned back and was
about to go home, Mr. Lazar suddenly took his gun from his sling bag and shot
Mr. Leonard on his head twice and then started to panic and went quickly inside
his car and drove away from the vicinity. Mr. Leonard fell to the ground and
blood started to spill out from his head.

Q8: Thank you for that Mr. Fritz, do you still have some more to add or delete from
your statement?
A8: None sir, that is all I have to say

Q9: Lastly, may I ask why are you giving your testimony voluntarily?
A9: Because I just want to tell the truth. It is better that the truth comes out because I
believe that justice delayed means that justice is denied.
