During the past few weeks, you have had the opportunity to develop a plan for success as a
student here at GCU and beyond graduation. Analyze your academic, spiritual, and career goals
from Topic 4 Purpose Plan. Complete the following prompts directly on this document—the

Based on your analysis, in 75-100 words total, describe what three action steps you will need to
take in order to achieve your academic goals.
1. I need to keep on track with my homework in order to achieve my goal.

2. I will have to start doubling up on classes soon to graduate in 4 years like I plan on
doing.

Based on your analysis, in 75-100 words total, describe what three action steps you will need to
take in order to achieve your spiritual goals.
1. I plan on staying up to date on the Chapel services provided by GCU.

2. I am going to start helping out at my church more with the food pantry ministry more.

3. I will start reading my bible app more so that I can stay focused on my spiritual
growth.

take in order to achieve your career goals.
1. 1. I need to keep updating my resume so that my skills are the most up-to-date and I
can showcase them in case I need to find a better job.
2. I will use the information I learn throughout my college career to better myself at my
current job and hopefully move up in the company.

3. I need to keep my grades up so that I can continue to receive financial aide and
 scholarships in order to keep going to school and obtaining my degree.

1. Academic Goals – I think I am working quite well towards my academic goals. I feel as if I
have been very successful in this class so far.

2. Spiritual Goals – I have been on track with my spiritual goals also. I will continue to stay on
track with these as well.

3. Career Goals – So far my career goals have been stopped. I am trying to obtain a degree so
that I can achieve my career goals. This will be an ongoing goal that is moving constantly.

Describe HOW you will know you are achieving your goals. (75-100 words total)
1. Academic Goals – I will know I am achieving these goals when I continue to have a 4.0
GPA.

2. Spiritual Goals – I will know I have achieved these goals when I feel my inner peace and
outward peace is radiating.

3. Career Goals – This goal will be the “long shot” I will have to work hard at school in order
to achieve this goal. I will know this goal is achieved when I have a nice shiny office in my
company.
