Study Links Japan's Domestic Travel Campaign to Increased COVID-19 Symptoms
Researchers in Japan found a higher incidence of COVID-19 symptoms among people who have
participated in a domestic travel campaign promoted by the government, suggesting that it is contributing
to a spread in the virus. The findings will make dismal reading for Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga, who
has defended the travel campaign, saying it was needed to stop many small businesses in the hospitality
sector from going bust due to the lack of customers as a result of the virus scare. High fever was reported
by 4.8 percent of users of the “Go To Travel campaign” compared with 3.7 percent for non-users,
according to a preprint of a study that examined data from an internet survey of more than 25,000 adults.
Participants also had higher rates of throat pain, cough, headache, and a loss of the sense of taste or
smell.
"The subsidy program may be incentivizing those who had higher risks of COVID-19 transmission
to travel, leading to larger cases of infections," according to the authors, who included researchers from
the medical schools of the University of Tokyo and University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). The
study was posted on the preprint server medRxiv in advance of peer review. While the domestic tourism
campaign began before Yoshihide Suga became prime minister following the resignation of Shinzo Abe
due to ill-health in September, Suga has been seen a key backer of the initiative. Health experts had
warned that encouraging domestic tourism risked spreading the infection from major cities to the
countryside.
Japan is now suffering a third wave of COVID-19, with new cases reaching record levels in Tokyo
and clusters that are straining the medical systems of Hokkaido in the north and Osaka in the west. Even
so, the nation has weathered the pandemic better than most major economies, with more than 165,000
cases and 2,417 fatalities.

All You Need to Know About Sakura –the Japanese Cherry Blossom Trees-
About Cherry Blossoms
A cherry blossom is the flower from a Prunus Tree, of which there are (a) many/ (b) much
different kinds. Species cherry blossoms are found throughout the world being especially common in
regions in the Northern Hemisphere with temperate climates, (a) excluding/ (b) including/ (c) except
Japan, China, and Korea, as well as Nepal, India, Pakistan, Iran, and Afghanistan, and several (a)
flowers/ (b) climates/ (c) areas across northern Europe. Japan is particularly famous for its cherry
blossom due its (a) large/ (b) less/ (c) little number of varieties and the nationwide celebrations during the
blooming season. As the buds burst open in parks and streets across the country, people throw picnic
and “hanami” (flower viewing) parties to appreciate the transient beauty of the (a) flowers/ (b) picnic and
welcome in the warmer weather.
Cherry blossoms in Japanese are known as “sakura” and it would not be an exaggeration to say
they are a national obsession. Different varieties of cherry blossoms (a) smell/ (b) bloom at different
times, but most hit their peak in Tokyo at the end of March to the beginning of April. During this season,
the atmosphere changes. Just like spring (a) flows/ (b) buys/ (c) brings the promise of new life and new
beginnings, the soft scent of blossom brings a vibrancy and optimism to the streets. The blossoms
become a topic of everyday conversation and it is common to see people transfixed in the street, (a)
photographing/ (b) planting a tree in bloom from many different angles. Products and decorations in
stores become (a) black/ (b) pink/ (c) green, flowery shapes and sakura-flavored sweets and drinks adorn
menus – the Starbucks sakura-themed drinks have an almost cult-like following!
Where Can You Find Sakura Trees?
The most common species of cherry blossom in Japan is the “Somei-yoshino” or Yoshino cherry,
a hybrid between two other species. It is known for its almost entirely white petals tinged with the faintest
of pinks. It is often (a) planted/ (b) watered/ (c) picked along rivers or castle moats, forming a tunnel of
shimmering pale shades that reflect off the water. You can also (a) cut/ (b) harvest/ (c) find them around
parks and schools.
Another beautiful (a) variety/ (b) petals/ (c) leaves is the Kawazu-zakura, commonly found in the
Kawazu area in the southern part of Izu Peninsula, just over 2-and-a-half hours from Tokyo by train.
These blossoms are a stronger shade of pink that Somei-Yoshino and they bloom around a month earlier,
usually from later February to early March. Kawazu-zakura Cherry Blossoms Festival is a (a) boring/ (b)
spectacular/ (c) awful sight that attracts around one million people every year.
However, if you’re not visiting in spring, there still (a) is/ (b) are/ (c) have blossoms to be found.
The Shikizakura, literally “four season sakura,” blooms twice a year and is a popular sight in Aichi
Prefecture where in autumn you can admire the contrast of the vibrant red leaves and delicate pink
flowers at the same time.
The meaning and symbolism of cherry blossom
The cherry blossom aesthetic (a) is one/ (b) the one/ (c) been of the most prominent images
throughout Japanese culture. You (a) are/ (b) find/ (c) will spy the design everywhere, from dreamy
landscapes in Ukiyo-e wood block prints or delicate (a) designed/ (b) designing/ (c) designs on painted on
Byobu traditional folding screens, to decorations on everyday consumer items like bento lunch boxes, not
to mention common appearances in modern art, manga and anime.
These delicate flowers (a) has/ (b) have/ (c) is inspired countless quotes dedicated to the beauty
they bring to the landscape and to encapsulate the admiration of people who (a) enjoy/ (b) cultivate/ (c)
brings them every spring. Take, for example, the (a) striking/ (b) strikes/ (c) strike words of Ikkyu (1394 –
1481), a Japanese Zen Buddhist monk and poet: “Break open a cherry tree and there are no flowers; but
the spring breeze brings forth myriad blossoms.”
One of the reasons for the popularity (a) and/ (b) with/ (c) of cherry blossom lies in their
symbolism. They are said to be like clouds as (a) them/ (b) they/ (c) their bloom all at once and hang
above the trees as if to shroud them in mist. Then – just like clouds – they suddenly disappear. Through
this, they have come to symbolize ephemerality or transient nature of life. This reflects a longstanding of
Buddhist concept in Japanese culture known as “mono no aware,” or roughly, “the pathos of things,”
which recognizes both the beauty (a) and/ (b) with/ (c) for mortality inherent in life.
Cherry blossom season in Japan
Cherry blossom season in Japan is generally (a) said/ (b) saying/ (c) says to be late March to
April, but given the geographical scope of the country, the blooming period actually covers around 4
months! In the subtropical islands of Okinawa in the south, cherry blossoms (a) begins / (b) begin / (c)
was begin blooming in mid-January, with the best viewing time around early February.
Next, the southern cities of Kagoshima, Kumamoto and even Fukuoka on Kyushu start to bloom
(a) on time/ (b) lasts/ (c) during the last week of March, with peak bloom in early April. Moving northwards
up to Kansai, where you’ll find Osaka, Kyoto and Nara, blossoms open as March (a) into/ (b) turns/ (c)
when to April.
For Tokyo and Yokohama, flowering tends to begin in the last few days of March with full bloom
in the first week of April. The northern cities in Tohoku (a) break/ (b) breaking/ (c) was breaking into bloom
well into April, with Hirosaki on the northern tip of Honshu starting to bloom and peak in the last week of
the month. Of course, the northern island of Hokkaido comes last. Flowering usually begins in the first
week of May in the cities of Sapporo and Hakodate, with peak bloom just (a) much/ (b) a few/ (c) less
days later.
Cherry blossom festivals
To welcome in the spring, or perhaps sometimes just an excuse for a good party, hanami (literally
“flower-viewing“) parties are held across Japan. These are often informal (a) work/ (b) eat/ (c) gatherings
between friends and families, but companies also hold their own celebrations, often in parks near their
offices. These normally involve selecting a (a) flower/ (b) spot/ (c) color with a large concentration of
sakura trees for a picnic – in Tokyo, Yoyogi Park is a highly popular place with people going very (a) late/
(b) early to reserve their spot. Usually, a blue plastic sheet is used as a mat. Everyone takes off their (a)
glasses/ (b) hat/ (c) shoes and gets comfy for a long time sitting under the blossom. People bring (a) their/
(b) theirs/ (c) them own food and drink to share with the group. Sakura-themed bento lunch boxes are
also popular, with blossom-shaped food or pink decorations. It is also common to eat sakura mochi – a
rice cake wrapped in the leaf of a sakura tree.
If you are able to visit Japan during cherry blossom season, it is an opportunity not to be missed
and will make an unforgettable trip.

Disney’s ‘Mulan’ Makes Inspired World Premiere While Remaining Cautious of Coronavirus
On Monday night, Disney had the world premiere of their forthcoming live-action version of the
classic animated feature Mulan in Los Angeles and while some were expecting it to follow the lead of
major festivals and events closing due to coronavirus fears, the premiere went on as planned and it was
filled with red carpet glam and enthusiasm as any Hollywood premiere — but there were discreet
precautions taken by the Dolby Theater as well as the attendees.
There were the normal security checks around the Hollywood and Highland center including
officials randomly inspecting cars as they entered the garage and metal detectors. On top of that, there
were hand sanitizing stations placed throughout the red carpet area and the Dolby Theater. As attendees
greeted each other, many were shaking hands and hugging, but you can overhear people asking
permission to hug or shake hands. There were just as many attendees taking precautions by giving an
elbow bump rather than shaking hands. Even during the reception, workers were politely vigilant when it
came to the food. They kept a close eye on if the guests came into contact with the food. Over at the
dessert table, one guest took a cookie with a napkin rather than having a server give it to them with a pair
of tongs. As a result, they ended up tossing out the whole tray of cookies. This was, of course, was done
as a just-in-case safeguard from coronavirus.
Director Niki Caro walked on stage to introduce the film but before doing so, she talked about the
journey of the film and how she was excited to share it with the audience. She genuinely spoke of how the
movie champions females as warriors and how they should not be held back by the expectations of
society. More importantly, she showed gratitude for being allowed to direct a film based on legendary
Chinese source material. She addressed the “challenging” time we are in right now — specifically in
China. She hopes that the film will help lift spirits and give the drive to persevere through the current
outbreak. From there, she brought out the cast including Donnie Yen, Jason Scott Lee, Yoson An, Jet Li,
Nelson Lee, Jun Yu, Jimmy Wong, Doua Moua, Ron Yuan, Rosalind Chao, Tzi Ma and, of course, the
heroine herself, Liu Yifei.
The live-action Mulan was adapted by Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver, Elizabeth Martin and Lauren
Hynek. The film is currently tracking a 3-day domestic debut around $85M when it opens in theaters on
March 27

Bear Killed Old Man at Yellowstone Park
Reeve, March 3rd, 2017
A grizzly bear killed a 57-year-old man (1) hiking in Yellowstone National Park with his wife
Wednesday. It’s the first fatal bear mauling in the park since 1986. Polar’s Lucia Reeve reports.
The bears involved in Wednesday encounter have not been (2) captured, and park officials said
they did not immediately have enough information to determine what measures, if any, they might
take in the aftermath of the attack.
According to the AP, Yellowstone National Park is home to at least 600 grizzly bears, though
some say the (3) population is over 1,000. While the attack is the first fatal mauling in the park (4)
since 1986, it’s the third in the region in little over a year.
A National Park Service statement said the couple surprised the mother grizzly while with her
cubs, and that the grizzly fatally mauled the man in “an attempt to (5) defend a perceived threat to
her cubs.”

Without Tourists, Some Barcelona Hotels get Creative to Survive
Sergi Pino recently moved to Barcelona, but rather than renting a flat, he's staying at a hotel
which has been forced to get creative to compensate for the absence of tourists. Hugely popular with
international visitors, the city has seen most of its hotels close as the pandemic has kept tourists away,
and the few that remain open have had to repurpose themselves to stay afloat. Some have adapted their
premises to suit telecommuters, while others have dropped the price for long-term stays in order to
compete with the traditional rental market. Still others are offering a deluxe experience to residents who,
unable to travel, get to play the tourist in their own city.
At his new "home" in the Gallery Hotel, Pino not only has his room, but enjoys the use of the gym,
the pool, the spa and an open space for teleworking all for 900 euros ($1,080) a month. "There's more
space, I'm happy and focused on my work," he says, sitting in front of a screen in the shared working
space wearing a grey suit and white trainers. "Nothing bothers me."
A former basketball player who is two meters tall, Pino used to commute from his home 70
kilometers away. But when he looked for a flat, he realized that staying in a hotel would be more
affordable. And he's not alone: among other long-term "guests" at the hotel are couples whose homes are
being renovated and people who were going to move abroad but found their relocation put on hold
because of the pandemic. "We have eight people living with us and we're about to take in another 24
reservations," says Marta Golobardes, director general of the Gallery group, which includes hotels in the
southern resort of Malaga and Mallorca in the Balearic Isles.
Shuttered by the pandemic in March, the hotel reopened in October after being refitted for
distance working with shared working spaces and rooms converted into offices with a desk instead of a
bed for those who cannot concentrate at home. Although they are making just a fraction of what they
would have done in a normal year, the income goes some way to compensating for the losses incurred by
the pandemic, "providing the staff with jobs, and meaning less money lost", Golobardes says. Several
hotels have taken a similar approach, offering rooms for as little as 600 euros ($730) a month, which is
cheaper than renting a studio in Barcelona. Others are offering a taste of luxury, with one hotel, the Ohla,
promising a free overnight stay for those paying to have dinner in its Michelin-starred restaurant.

Australian Woman Dies Trying to Take Photo at Edge of 262-Foot Cliff
Jessie Yeung, CNN • Published 14th December 2020
(CNN) — A woman in Australia fell off a cliff to her (1) death on Saturday after trying to take a photo at the
precarious location. Rosy Loomba, 38, was with her husband and child when the (2) accident occurred at
Grampians National Park, in Australia's Victoria state, according to CNN affiliate Nine News. They were at
Boroka Lookout, an overhang by the side of the (3) cliff that has a panoramic view of the mountains and
(4) town below. Police said Loomba climbed past safety barriers and (5) warning signs, to pose on a rock
for a photo when she tripped over the (6) edge, falling more than 80 meters (about 262 feet) down the cliff
face, according to Nine News. Witnesses heard Loomba (7) screaming, but were unable to help. Police
and the state emergency service worked for six hours to scale the cliff and retrieve her (8) body.
The viewing platform was closed throughout the afternoon during the retrieval process, but was
reopened to the public by 10 p.m. The lookout is a particularly (9) popular photo spot; a quick search of
the location tag on Instagram shows dozens of photos showing people at the (10) cliff-side, legs dangling
over the edge, or balanced on a narrow rock near the edge. A few even filmed themselves doing back-
flips by the edge. Local tour guide Graham Wood told Nine News he had (11) warned his customers
about the lookout just half an hour before Loomba's fall. "I made a comment to my customers, that this
(people climbing over the barrier) (12) happens all the time," he said. "And one of these days, someone's
going to fall off. I'm sad that it's happened."
In the aftermath, authorities (13) reminded the public to heed safety signs and guidelines, and
that no photo is worth a person's life. "We can't rope off every part of Victoria," said Police Minister Lisa
Neville. "People have to take responsibility. “Before the Coronavirus pandemic halted the (14) travel
industry, (15) destinations from Kyoto to the Czech Republic had to institute photography bans due to
risky behavior.

A volcano in eastern Indonesia has erupted, sending a column of ash as (1) high as 4000 meters
into the sky and prompting the evacuation of thousands of people. Almost 5000 people from dozens of
villages have been (2) evacuated from the slopes of Mount Ili Lewotolok, which is located on Lembata

and a local airport had been closed as ash rained down on many (6) areas of the island. Local people
have been taken to shelters, with (7) officials appealing for more masks to help curb the spread of
Coronavirus. Mount Ili Lewotolok has been erupting off and on (8) since October 2017. The Volcanology
and Geological Hazard Mitigation Centre raised the volcano's alert (9) level to the second-highest level on
Sunday after sensors picked up increasing activity.
The Jakarta Post, (10) reported pieces of ash as "big as coconuts" falling. The 5423-metre
mountain is one of three currently erupting in Indonesia along with Merapi on Java Island and Sinabung
on Sumatra Island. They are among more than 120 active (11) volcanoes in Indonesia, which is prone to
seismic upheaval due to its location on the Pacific "Ring of Fire," an arc of volcanoes and fault lines
around the Pacific Ocean. After the eruption, the Disaster Mitigation Agency advised (12) villagers and

Rockets Fired at US Embassy in Baghdad by 'Outlawed Group'
By Associated Press 8:03am Dec 21, 2020
Eight rockets have targeted the US embassy in Baghdad's heavily fortified Green Zone, Iraqi
officials said, sparking fears of renewed unrest as next month's anniversary of the US slaying of an
Iranian general draws near.
An Iraqi military statement said an "an outlawed group" launched eight rockets targeting the
Green Zone on Sunday, injuring one Iraqi security person manning a checkpoint and causing material
damage to a residential complex and some cars. The residential complex is usually empty. The US
embassy's C-RAM defense system, which is used to destroy missiles in mid-air, was activated to deflect
the attack, the embassy said in a statement.
"The US embassy confirms rockets targeting the International Zone (Green Zone) resulted in the
engagement of embassy defensive systems," the statement said. It said there was some minor damage
to the embassy compound. "We call on all Iraqi political and governmental leaders to take steps to
prevent such attacks and hold accountable those responsible," the statement said. The thundering sound
of the defense system could be heard by Associated Press reporters located on the other side of the
Tigris River. The C-RAM system was installed by the US over the northern summer as armed
groups stepped up rocket attacks targeting the embassy and its premises.

The Language Features of Newspaper Headlines
There are two clear features to English newspaper headlines.
1. Headlines are almost always in the present tense.
- Landslide in Lembang destroys 100 houses
- Australia bushes fire burns 170 hectare Forest
- Even future events are described in present tense.
- Grandchild to sue his own grandmother --> (Grandchild is to sue grandmother)
2. Headlines generally leave out certain words, especially articles and the verb to be, ‘and’ is often
replaced by a comma.
- A stray cat on a tree rescued (A stray cat on a tree is rescued)
- Volunteer, terrorist killed in a borderline (A volunteer and a terrorist are killed in a borderline)
Note : These examples look like they are in the past tense, but they are actually present time,
passive voice.

'World's Ugliest Orchid' Among New Species Named in 2020
By Reuters Staff
LONDON (Reuters) - Orchids are not often called ugly, but that is how the Royal Botanic Gardens
in Kew, London, described a new species of the normally vibrant and delicate flower discovered in the
forests of Madagascar.
Gastrodia agnicellus, one of 156 plants and fungal species named by Kew scientists and their
partners around the world in 2020, has been crowned “the ugliest orchid in the world”. “The 11 mm
flowers of this orchid are small, brown and rather ugly,” Kew said in its list of the top 10 discoveries of the
year. The orchid depends on fungi for nutrition and has no leaves or any other photosynthetic tissue.
Although assessed as a threatened species, the plants have some protection because they are located in
a national park. Among the other discoveries officially named this year were six new species of web-cap
toadstool mushrooms in the United Kingdom and a strange shrub encountered in southern Namibia in
2010. Botanist Wessel Swanepoel could not place the shrub in any known genus and neither could
anyone else, and so Swanepoel called Kew’s molecular expert Felix Forest and his team for analysis.
The result was that it was not just a new species, but a new genus and a new family, called
Tiganophyton karasense. While around 2,000 plants are named new to science annually, new families
are only published around once a year. The shrub has bizarre scaly leaves and grows in extremely hot
natural salt pans, hence its name Tiganophyton, derived from the Greek ‘Tigani’, or ‘frying pan’, and
‘Phyton’, or ‘plant’.
Martin Cheek, senior research leader at Kew, welcomed the latest natural discoveries. “Some
could provide vital income to communities while others may have the potential to be developed into a
future food or medicine,” he said. But he warned: “The bleak reality facing us cannot be underplayed.
With two in five plants threatened with extinction, it is a race against time to find, identify, name, and
conserve plants before they disappear.”

Hary and Meghan are Dropping the Word ‘Royal’ from Their Brand
(CNN) Prince Harry and his wife Meghan will not be using the word “Royal” for their new venture, the
couple announced on Friday.
A spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said that given the specific UK government rules
surrounding the use of the word “Royal,” the couple agreed that their new non-profit organization will not
be named Sussex Royal Foundation.
“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex do not intend to use ‘Sussex Royal’ in any territory post spring
2020,” the spokesperson said.
Harry and Meghan surprised the world last month when they announced plans to step back from their
duties in the British royal family and “transition into a new working model.” At the same time, it emerged
that couple had applied for a UK trademark for the term “Sussex Royal,” covering hundreds of items
under the categories of printed matter, clothing, campaigning, charitable fundraising, education, and
social care services.
However, earlier this week, a royal source told CNN that the use of the word “Royal” was being
reviewed.
On Friday, the couple’s spokesperson said the trademark applications have been removed. The
trademark applications were “filed as protective measures, acting on advice from and following the same
model for The Royal Foundation,” according to the spokesperson.
Prince Harry and Meghan already agreed to stop using the titles His and Her Royal Highness, eschew
some state funding and return the Sovereign Grant funds they spent to renovate their official residence.
Harry and Meghan left for Canada with their son Clara after the royal exit announcement.
The couple will return to the UK later this month to carry out their final official engagements before
they step down as senior members of the royal family.
On Wednesday, it was announced that Harry and Meghan’s office at Buckingham Palace would officially
close and the couple would begin a 12-month transition period from March 31.

A Customer at an Ohio Restaurant Left a $5,600 Tip to Split Among the Entire Staff for Christmas
By Alaa Elassar, CNN December 20, 2020
(CNN) -- Employees at a restaurant in Ohio received a Christmas gift they didn't see coming
when a customer left a $5,600 tip for the entire staff to split.
The guest, who asked the restaurant to allow him to remain anonymous, was dining at Souk
Mediterranean Kitchen in Toledo on December 12 when he left the massive tip for all 28 employees --
including those who were off that day. After dividing it, each staff member took home $200.
"There was a lot of tears, I'm tearing up now talking about it," Moussa Salloukh, Souk's owner
and chef, told CNN. "Your restaurant staff becomes your family and everyone cares about each other. I've
been staying out of the kitchen to give employees hours to get through and put gifts under the tree for
their kids, so this was so huge for us."
Multiple employees who weren't able to afford a Christmas tree or presents for their family
because of the pandemic told Salloukh the tip was the only thing that "made that possible."
"A lot of them felt like someone was looking and watching down on them. It gave us a lot of hope,
it was just a beautiful thing to do for 28 strangers you don't even know," Salloukh said.
Salloukh opened his restaurant in October 2019, and like many other business owners, was
struggling to keep it alive due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
In September, the National Restaurant Association said 100,000 restaurants had closed so far in
2020. About 60% of the businesses that closed during the pandemic will never reopen, and restaurants
have suffered the most, according to data from Yelp.
But now, as the restaurant gets back on its feet, Salloukh says the kind gesture is a "reminder"
that despite the obstacles and the struggles, everything will be OK.
"The restaurant was a tribute to my mother and everything was going great until March, when we
were forced to shut down," he added. "Financially there was a huge impact, but we did just about
everything to survive. Then all of a sudden this gentleman comes in and gives us a $5,600 tip for all our
employees. 'Thank you' isn't enough."

“All these collections belong to the family, starting from our father’s, the late Lukminto. We built the
museum to preserve [his] legacy for future generations,” said museum founder Iwan Kurniawan Lukminto.
He went on to say that it was not easy to obtain the museum’s art. “It’s not all about the money,” he said.
For the Lukminto family, it is important for Indonesian art to be better appreciated by more
Indonesians. “Our artists are as good as international artists,” said Iwan.

Taylor Swift clarified that she does not have another surprise album up her sleeves after rumors
of a possible third record circulated among her fans.
The award-winning singer addressed the speculations while guesting on Jimmy Kimmel Live, as
seen on the show’s YouTube page on Dec. 14. Host Jimmy Kimmel noted that her supporters began to
speculate about a third record called woodvale after finding the word on the cover of folklore.
While Swift admits that she likes to drop hints for her fans, she assured that the word was not one
of them. “When I was making folklore, the album that came out back in July, I was too afraid to even
unveil the title of the album to even my closest teammates and management. I didn’t tell anybody the
album title until right before it came out,” she explained.
Swift then used woodvale as a fake codename for the record since it had the same amount of
letters as folklore. “[I] wanted to see how it would look on the album covers, mocked them up, and then
decided, I don’t actually want to have a title on the album covers and we forgot to take the fake codename
off of one of them,” she added.
The singer also noted that she did the same thing for her second surprise album evermore. Swift
had chosen “November” for the record’s mockup, but made sure to take it off of the materials before
releasing evermore. “We learned our lesson,” the singer said. Kimmel then joked about another potential
album, but Swift quickly told him that it was unlikely. “Jimmy, I’m so tired,” she quipped. “I’m so
exhausted. I’ve tried myself out. I have nothing left.”
Swift released evermore, her ninth studio effort and the sister record of her first surprise
album folklore, on Dec. 11.

UNESCO Puts ‘Finnish’ Sauna Culture on Heritage List
Finns' penchant for relaxing in blazing hot steam-filled rooms was on Thursday put on the UN's
list of the world's intangible (1) heritage. With an estimated three million saunas for 5.5 million (2) people,
the steam bath is a traditional Finnish institution which goes back hundreds of years. "Sauna culture in
Finland is an integral part of the lives of the majority of the Finnish (3) population," the UN body said. The
culture "involves much more than simply washing oneself. In a sauna, people cleanse their bodies and
minds and (4) embrace a sense of inner peace", UNESCO said.
Saunas are ubiquitous in Finnish homes, blocks of flats and at (5) swimming pools, where
bathers (6) gather often in the nude in temperatures of around 85 degrees Celsius (185F). Over the
years, Finnish leaders have regularly (7) invited their counterparts and foreign dignitaries into the sauna
to (8) continue discussions, and Cold War president, Urho Kekkonen's "sauna diplomacy" became a
keystone of Finland's relations with neighboring Soviet Russia. But the practice has also come in for
heavy criticism for excluding (9) women, as the sexes usually bathe separately.
In winter the sauna is often (10) followed by a dip in a hole in the ice of one of Finland's many
thousands of lakes, a ritual which many sauna devotees insist improves (11) health and mental wellbeing.
The often quiet contemplation inside the sauna, alone or with others, is something of a sacred (12) ritual
for Finns, for whom regular churchgoing is rare.
Traditionally the sauna has also been the (13) place where life began and ended -- up until the
1940s rural women often gave birth there, as the only place in the home with hot water and privacy, and
the sauna is (14) where the last rites were performed after a death. The term "sauna" is one of the few
(15) words from the notoriously obscure Finnish language to pass into international use, and the name is
thought to have (16) originally referred to the hot stones upon which water is thrown to create steam. For
11 years the Finns hosted a sauna endurance world (17) championship although it was abandoned in
2010 after the (18) death of a competitor in the 110 degree (230 Fahrenheit) heat.
However in 2019 the country successfully reclaimed the world (19) record from China for the
highest number of different nationalities in one sauna, when bathers from 101 different (20) countries
squeezed into an enormous steam bath in the capital Helsinki.

Read the following text carefully and underlined the noun form in the text!
(The teacher will score based on student’s understanding of the text.)
Inscribed in 2010 (5.COM) on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity
Angklung is an Indonesian musical instrument consisting of two to four bamboo tubes suspended in a
bamboo frame, bound with rattan cords. The tubes are carefully whittled and cut by a master craftsperson to
produce certain notes when the bamboo frame is shaken or tapped. Each Angklung produces a single note or
chord, so several players must collaborate in order to play melodies. Traditional Angklungs use the
pentatonic scale, but in 1938 musician Daeng Soetigna introduced Angklungs using the diatonic scale; these
are known as Angklung Padaeng. The Angklung is closely related to traditional customs, arts and cultural
identity in Indonesia, played during ceremonies such as rice planting, harvest and circumcision. The special
black bamboo for the Angklung is harvested during the two weeks a year when the cicadas sing, and is cut at
least three segments above the ground, to ensure the root continues to propagate. Angklung education is
transmitted orally from generation to generation, and increasingly in educational institutions. Because of the
collaborative nature of Angklung music, playing promotes cooperation and mutual respect among the
players, along with discipline, responsibility, concentration, development of imagination and memory, as
well as artistic and musical feelings.

The Japanese Cabinet approved Friday the lifting of sanctions on Iran, following the recent completion of a
landmark deal to try to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons. Advance’s Jane Brown reports.
The widely expected move will allow Japanese companies to pursue investment in Iran’s oil and gas industry.
Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga told reporters that the government would cancel bans on Japanese
investment in both exports to Iran and in oil and gas-related business.
Yoshihide Suga: “We will continue to support the consistent implementation of the final agreement on the
Iranian nuclear issue as we see it as a way to enforce nuclear non-proliferation and contribute to stability in the
Middle East.”
The UN certified last weekend that Iran had met all of its commitments under the nuclear deal, leading to the
lifting of long-standing Western economic sanctions on the country.

How to Make Ice Cream (Vanilla Ice Cream)
Ingredients
2. Prepare an ice bath: Fill a large bowl with some water and ice cubes. Place another, smaller bowl on
top of the water, and place a strainer inside. Keep this close by while you make the ice cream base.
3. Whisk the sugar and yolks until pale lemon-yellow colored: If you haven't already done so, separate the
yolks from the eggs. Combine the sugar and the yolks in a medium mixing bowl. Whisk until combined.
4. Warm the milk on the stovetop: Pour the milk into a medium saucepan and place over medium heat.
Add the vanilla bean (pod and seeds) or vanilla extract. Bring the milk to a simmer, then remove from
heat.
5. Temper the egg-sugar mixture with 1 cup of hot milk: Scoop out about 1 cup of hot milk (no need to be
exact). Slowly pour it into the egg-sugar mixture while whisking. This warms the eggs and prevents them
from curdling in the next step.
6. Pour the tempered egg-sugar mixture into the milk: Slowly pour the tempered egg-sugar mixture into
the saucepan with the remaining milk.
7. Cook the ice cream base until thickened: Return the saucepan to the stove and place over low heat.
Stir the mixture slowly, but constantly, scraping the bottom and sides of the pot. Keep cooking until the
base has thickened enough to coat the back of the spatula and registers 170°F with an instant-read
thermometer.
8. Strain the ice cream base into the bowl of the ice water bath. Straining will remove the vanilla pod and
any bits of egg that may have accidentally curdled.
10. Chill completely: Leave the ice cream base over the ice water bath, stirring occasionally, until it's
completely chilled. This will take about twenty minutes. Alternatively, cover the bowl with the base and
chill in the fridge for three hours or overnight.
11. Churn the ice cream base: Transfer the ice cream base to the bowl of your ice cream machine. Churn
until the base has thickened to a consistency somewhere between a very thick milkshake and soft-serve
ice cream. In most ice cream makers, this takes about twenty minutes — check the instructions for your
particular machine.
12. Freeze the ice cream until solid: Transfer the thickened ice cream to a freezer container. Press a
piece of wax paper against the surface of the ice cream to prevent ice crystals from forming and freeze
until solid, at least four hours. The ice cream will keep in the freezer for about two weeks before becoming
icy.
Notes : You can change vanilla with the other flavor like strawberry, chocolate, coffee and the others

How to Meditate for Beginners
Meditation has many benefits, relief from stress, anxiety and unnecessary thoughts being among
them.
1. Think about what you want to achieve with your meditation. People come to meditation for
a wide range of reasons — whether to improve their creativity, help visualize a goal, quiet their inner
chatter, or make a spiritual connection.
2. Find a distraction-free area to meditate in. Especially when you’re just starting out, it’s
important to clear your environment of distracting sensations. Turn off the TV and radio, close your
windows against the street sounds outside, and close your door to noisy roommates.
3. Use a meditation cushion. Meditation cushions are also known as zafus. A zafu is a circular
cushion that allows you to sit on the ground while meditating. Because it does not have a back, as a chair
does, it doesn’t let you slump back and lose focus on your energy.
4. Choose a time when you’re comfortable. If you’re a beginner, you may find it hard to
concentrate at first if you’re not in the right frame of mind. When you’re starting out, meditate when you
already feel relaxed.
5. Sit on your cushion or chair with a straight back. The upright posture helps you to
concentrate on your breathing as you purposefully inhale and exhale.
6. Tilt your chin as though you’re looking downward. It doesn’t matter if your eyes are
opened or closed when you meditate, though many people find it easier to block out visual distractions
with closed eyes.
7. Keep your mouth closed as you breathe. You should both inhale and exhale through your
nose when meditating. However, make sure your jaw muscles are relaxed, even though your mouth is
closed.
8. Focus on your breathing. This is what meditation’s all about. Instead of trying not to think
about the things that might stress you out on a day-to-day basis, give yourself something positive to focus
on: your breath.
9. Don’t be too hard on yourself. Accept that focus will be hard for you when you’re just starting
out. Don't berate yourself––all beginners experience the inner chatter. In fact, some would say that this
continual return to the present moment is the "practice" of meditation. Furthermore, don’t expect your
meditation practice to change your life overnight.
Mindfulness takes time to exert its influence. Keep coming back to meditation every day for at
least a few minutes, lengthening your sessions when possible.

4. How people can get a peaceful area to do a meditation? Turn off the TV and radio, close the windows against the
street sounds outside, and close the door to noisy roommates.
5. What is zafu? It is a meditation cushions.
6. Why we should sit with upright posture? Because it helps you to concentrate on your breathing.
7. How do we breathe when doing a meditation? We should both inhale and exhale through our nose when
meditating.
8. What is meditation’s all about? It is all about focus on our breathing.
9. What do the beginners experience when starting a meditation? The inner chatter
10. How many steps that should be followed? Nine steps

Adverb Phrases
Adverb Phrases Forms
An adverb phrase consists of one or more words. The adverb is the head of the phrase and can
appear alone or it can be modified by other words. Adverbs are one of the four major word classes, along
with nouns, verbs and adjectives. In procedural texts, adverbials are commonly found.
In the examples, the adverb phrases are in bold. The other words that modify the adverb are
underlined:
We usually take a break on 11.30 p.m.
Time goes very quickly.
That week seemed to go by incredibly slowly.
My mother is going on vacation for a month
Cristiano Ronaldo scored a goal beautifully.
The room was good enough for me.
It’s hard to wake up early if you sleep late. Time when something happens
The scent only smells temporarily Duration how long something happens
She is the one who care the most. Focusing something specific
Task 1
Read the following text in front the class!
(The students read the text in front the class. The teacher score based on student’s reading include in

How to Feed New Born Kitten
1. Gather equipment. To feed your newborn kitten you will need some sort of feeding device. If possible, you
should use bottle and teat set specifically designed for use with kittens, such as the catac bottle and teat set. The
bottle itself is very small, and it has an open end at the top so then you can place a thumb over it to control the
flow of milk if it is dripping too fast from the teat and overwhelming the kitten.
2. Sterilize the equipment. It is crucial to keep all your equipment sterile. Simply washing everything is
insufficient. Consider using a steam sterilizer (as for a baby’s bottles) or immerse the equipment in a dilution of
milton sterilizing fluid in a bowl.
3. Make and heat the milk. If using liquid formula, open the can and measure the required amount according to the
packaging. If using powder formula, follow the directions on the packaging regarding how many scoops and
water to use.
4. Check your kitten’s body temperature. When you are ready to feed the kitten, make sure she is warm.
5. Feed the kitten. Sit in a comfortable chair with a towel folded on your lap. Position the kitten similarly to the
way he would nurse from his mother, with her head straight, feet down, and stomach resting.
6. Feed the correct amount. Cimicat and other KMRs come with a guide to how much to feed and how often on the
pack. Follow the instructions on the package. Here are some general guidelines.
• One to three days: 2.5ml of KMR every two hours
• Four to seven days: 5ml of KMR 10 to 12 feeds a day
• Six to 10 days: 5 to 7.5ml KMR 10 feeds a day
• 11 to 14 days: 10 to 12.5ml KMR every three hours
• 15 to 21 days: 10 ml eight times daily
• 21 days and beyond: 7.5 to 25 ml, three to four times daily, in addition to introducing solid food
7. Watch for signals. When learning how and practicing to bottle feed a kitten, keep in mind that overfeeding or
feeding improperly can cause problems with respiration.
8. Remain calm and relaxed. It is important to remain patient and calm while bottle feeding a kitten to ensure that
the kitten is at ease.
9. Clean your kitten’s bottom. Immediately after each feed the mother cat licks her kittens’ anus and genital areas,
to encourage them to urinate and defecate.
10. Return the kitten to her warm bed or box to rest, continue with the regular feeding schedule every day

How to Clean Face at Home
Skin Care Tips: Learn how to do a face clean-up at home with this step-by-step guide for flawless, radiant
skin, free of dead skin cells and dirt. Face cleanup at home was never this important. We bring you a step-by-step
guide on how to clean face at home in no time, plus expert tips to enhance your natural beauty, and keep blemishes
at bay. Include these in your daily beauty regimen.
1. Cleansing: "Face cleaning is important to have a bright, glowing skin. Wash your face thoroughly with a facial
cleanser or face wash, and pat the skin dry with a soft towel. "Avoid hot water as it dries out the skin", recommends
Dr. Rahul Nagar, Dermatologist, Max Hospitals. Next, dab some cleansing milk on a cotton pad and wipe your face
with it in order to unclog your pores and remove any leftover dirt.
2. Steaming: Steam for as long as your skin can sustain (approximately 5 minutes) and then gently wipe the face
with a facial tissue. This step works wonders for oily skin. Massage your face using an ice cube (in circular
motions), thereafter, to tighten the pores and bring back the skin temperature to normal.
3. Scrubbing: Proceed by applying a face scrub for a few minutes since it helps eliminate dead skin cells, which
make your skin look dull. Scrub your face for 5 minutes, and then leave it on for another 3 minutes or so, before you
wash it off.
4. Face Pack: No matter what your skin type is, the application of a moisturizing face pack makes your skin soft and
also improves your skin tone.
5. Toning: Apply a home-made toner on your face, such as cucumber juice and rose water, which helps maintain the
pH balance.
6. Moisturisation: Finally, apply a nourishing cream on your face and neck. For best results, follow this routine at
night (once a week), since it allows the skin to breathe and gives you a fresh, revitalized look in the morning.

Text for questions number 1 to 5
How to Train Your Dog to Sit
Does your dog know how to sit on cue? Teaching the “sit” command to your dog is usually quite simple, as dogs
tend to sit naturally. Sit is an important basic command that every dog should know.
Plan to set aside 5-10 minutes a few times a week to work on training sit. Before you begin, make sure you have
delicious training treats to offer your dog. These treats should be soft, small, and highly appealing to your dog.
1. Next, add the cue word: Say your dog’s name followed by the word “sit,” spoken clearly while holding the treat
in the position as before.
2. Immediately give your dog the treat followed by petting and praising.
3. Move the treat back towards your dog’s ears, keeping it close to the head. Your dog’s nose might turn up to follow the
treat at first, but most dogs will sit when the treat gets to a certain point.
4. Get your dog’s attention and show her that you have a treat in your hand.
5. Hold the treat just above your dog’s nose (not too high or she might jump).
6. As soon as your dog’s rear lands on the ground, say “yes!” or “good dog” in an upbeat tone.
7. Repeat 1-5 times until your dog sits at the sight of the treat above of her nose.
8. Repeat several times, using the word “sit” each time and gradually phasing out the hand motion (keep using the
treat, just phase out the motion).
DO wash your hands first. You don’t want to accidentally transfer germs from your hands to your produce before
and after sanitizing them, since that would be quite counterproductive. Follow the established guideline of washing
your hands with soap and water for a full 20 seconds, and then you can go grab your food items.
DON’T wash produce items before you’re ready to eat them. Moisture is a perfect habitat for bacteria to prosper
in. If you sanitize fruits and vegetables before you’re ready to consume them, you run the risk of creating an
environment where additional bacteria can thrive.
DO use just cold water. If you’ve been paying attention, then you’ve probably seen recommendations that you
sanitize fruits and vegetables in soap or special produce rinses, but a lot of experts—including the U.S. Department
of Agriculture—are saying that’s a bad idea. Many fruits and vegetables are porous, meaning that it’s easy for
something you apply on the outside to seep its way to the inside. If consumed, soaps, even gentle ones, can cause
stomach distress.
DON’T forget to be thorough. A cold water rinse is all that you should need to make your fruits and veggies safe
to eat, but technique is important here.
If you’re sanitizing lettuce, cabbage, or similar leafy greens, remove the outer layer of greens before sanitizing.
Remove the leaves from other fruits and vegetables too before cleaning, and get rid of any damaged or bruised spots,
which can harbor bacteria.
For items like apples, potatoes, carrots, and other hard fruits and vegetables, use a vegetable brush during the cold
water rinse to scrub the surface. For softer produce items like berries, tomatoes, and mushrooms, use your hands to
gently but firmly rub the item while it’s being rinsed.
Be Smart. It’s hard not to overthink everything that we bring into our homes right now, but when it comes to food
from the grocery store, it helps to be able to separate fact from fiction—especially when the facts show that it’s not
as concerning as you might think. Follow the tips above to sanitize fruits and vegetables and you should have
nothing to worry about.

How to Iron Clothes
When you actually begin to iron, take your time to ensure the garment has been stretched flat across the ironing
board. This will save you some time in terms of re-ironing wrinkles that you put in. As you (1) iron, make sure to
iron clothing evenly with smooth, careful strokes. Always remember to keep the iron moving. Stopping at any point
could burn your clothing.
1. Start the process by ironing the collar. Stretch the back of it across the flat surface of the board. Run the iron
over the back of the collar (2) several times until you are sure it is correctly pressed. (3) Turn the shirt over and
handle the front of the collar.
2. Move to the sleeves of the garment. You need to be sure to iron the back of the sleeves first, then (4) move to
the front of the sleeves. Start by stretching the larger part of the sleeves across the point of the ironing board. Iron all
the way around the back of the sleeves, then move it (5) toward the sleeve front until you have ironed the
circumference of the sleeve. Stretch the lower back of the sleeve across the large, flat surface of the ironing board.
Iron toward the cuffs. Flip the shirt over and do the front, making sure to take careful, short strokes.
3. When you get ready to handle the rest of the shirt, lay it as flat as possible on the ironing board. Work from one
side to the other slowly smoothing out the wrinkled spots as you go.
4. Hang the shirt (6) directly after you finish ironing. Be sure to button the top and center buttons.
1. Turn the pants inside out. Begin with the top. Iron the circumference of the waistband. Move toward the
pockets. Be (7) sure to iron both sides of the pockets. Iron the fly, then the seams of the pants, then the hems. Follow
that (8) order carefully, and use smooth, quick strokes.
2. Turn the pants so the correct side is facing out. Hook the waistline of the pants around the arrow shaped edge of
the board. Use the iron to press out the wrinkles of the top front (9) part of your pants.
3. Put the pants legs parallel to the board, with both of them headed in the same direction. Iron each leg without
(10) damaging the current creases.
4. Iron the cuffs, and hang the pants.

How to Connect a DVD Player to a Laptop
Older computer laptops that are not equipped with a built-in DVD-ROM drive can still be used to watch DVDs by
(1) connecting a DVD player. Although laptops vary by manufacturer, the principle of connecting a laptop computer
to a DVD (2) player is the same.
Step 1
Download and (3) install DVD player software compatible with either Mac or PC laptops, depending on the
platform you use. Several (4) software companies offer free shareware software for playing DVDs on a computer.
You need this software in order for the computer to be able to "read" the signal (5) coming from the DVD player
you are about to connect.

capture card with USB. Video cards with a USB cable merely (7) plug into the USB port on a laptop; no special
wiring or programming is required.
Step 3
Plug the video-out cord on the DVD player into the video-in jack on the video-capture card connected to an older
laptop. Then plug the audio-out (8) cable from the DVD player into the audio-in jack on the laptop (typically a mini
plug like the ones found on computer speakers).
Step 4

port on the computer as an (11) alternative to connecting a full-size DVD player. External DVD drives are almost
universally plug-and-play, meaning the drive only needs to be connected to the laptop to start working (12)
automatically. The external drive draws power from the laptop so no additional cables are required.
Task 2
Fill the blank with the words inside the box!
How to Live a Peaceful Life
In our (1) daily lives, we often rush through tasks, trying to get them done, trying to finish as much as we can
each day, rushing to do what we need to do there, and then leaving so that we can speed to our next destination.
Unfortunately, it’s often not until we get to our (2) final destination that we realize what madness this all is.
At the end of the day, we’re often (3) exhausted and stressed out from the grind and the chaos and the busy-
ness of the day. We don’t have time for what’s important to us, for what we really (4) want to be doing, for spending
time with loved ones, for doing things we’re (5) passionate about.
If that appeals to you, let’s take a look at some suggestions for living a simple, peaceful, content life:
1. What’s important. First, take a step (6) back and think about what’s important to you. What do you really
want to be doing, who do you want to spend your time with, what do you want to accomplish with your work? Make
a short (7) list of 4-5 things for your life, 4-5 people you want to spend time with, 4-5 things you’d like to
accomplish at work.
2. Examine your commitments. A big part of the (8) problem is that our lives are way too full. We can’t possibly
do everything we have committed to doing, and we certainly can’t (9) enjoy it if we’re trying to do everything.
3. Do less each day. Don’t fill your day up with things to do. You will end up (10) rushing to do them all. Give
time to do what you need to do, and not rush.
4. Leave (11) space between tasks or appointments. Another mistake is trying to schedule things back-to-back.
This gives us a feeling of being rushed and stressed throughout the day. Instead, leave a good-sized gap (12)
between your appointments or tasks, allowing you to focus more on each one, and have a transition time between
them.
5. Now, slow down and enjoy (13) every task. This is the most important tip in this article. Read it twice.
Whatever you’re doing, whether it’s a work task or taking a shower or brushing your teeth or cooking dinner or
driving to work, (14) slow down. Try to enjoy whatever you’re doing. Try to pay attention, instead of thinking about
other things. Be in the moment. This isn’t easy, as you will often forget. But find a way to (15) remind yourself.

Reading
Grammar
Figurative Language
Figurative language is to a writer what a paintbrush is to an artist. That is, you can use it to take something
simple or flat and transform it into something multi-dimensional. Figurative language has the ability to be more
impactful than literal writing; it can expand readers interpretations and broaden their imaginings.
Take similes and metaphors — two of the most popular forms of figurative language. Similes make comparisons
using the words “like” or “as.” For example, “He was fierce as a lion.” Metaphors make comparisons that are more
indirect. For example, “After meditating, he was Buddha himself.”
You can see how these examples of figurative language give literal meanings a bit of a boost. Instead of using a
simile, we could have just said, “He was fierce.” Isn’t that boring, though? Now, we have an image of a man
dominating the room like a lion on the savannah. The same for our zen man. We could’ve said, “He was very calm.”
Instead, we’re able to conjure up an image of the serene and wise Buddha. Fun, right? Let’s get out our paintbrushes
and take a closer look.
While figurative language is common in literature and poetry as it uses exaggerations or alterations to make a
particular linguistic point, it’s also used in other forms of writing. Let’s explore different variations to see what
you’d like to use in your next writing piece.
1. Alliteration : Alliteration helps writers punch points home by repeating the same sound (usually a
consonant) of the first or second letter in a series of words. It tends to catch the reader’s eye.
Example in a song:
“Whisper words of wisdom, let it be.” (Let It Be – The Beatles)
The three Ws repeated at the start of the lyrics add to the tone of the overall song
2. Hyperbole : When a writer exaggerates something — typically in a humorous way — it’s known as
hyperbole. “My eyes widened at the sight of the mile-high sundaes that were brought to our
table.”
Example in a song:
“Near, far, wherever you are” (My heart will go on – Celline Dion)
The songwriter exaggerates the way to illustrate the main character’s presence to the
listeners
3. Metaphor : A metaphor is a comparison between two things. They don’t necessarily have to be alike
but make a link in the reader’s mind. “Nobody invites Edward to parties because he is a wet
blanket.”
Example in a song:
“Do you ever feel, feel so paper thin” (Fire Work – Katy Perry)
Here the singer is trying to compare the weak-minded persons to a thin paper or a tissue
paper.
4. Personification: When something non-human is given human-like qualities, this is known as personification. “The
leaves danced in the wind on the cold October afternoon.”
Example in a song:
“The snow glows white on the mountain tonight” (Let It Go – Idina Menzel)
In reality, snow doesn’t glow.
5. Simile : A simile is a direct comparison between two things, using like or as.
“Jamie runs as fast as the wind.”
Example in a song:
“Do you ever feel like a plastic bag” (Fire Work – Katy Perry)
Here the singer compares a person to a plastic bag which used to store things or perhaps a
garbage cover.
6. Symbolism : Symbolism occurs when something that has one meaning is used to represent something
entirely different. For example, using an image of the American flag to represent patriotism.
Example in a song:
“You shoot me down but I won’t fall, I am titanium” (Titanium – David Guetta)
In this song, the word ‘Titanium’ is used as a symbol for toughness. The singer expresses that
others’ negative opinions will not bother him because he is as strong as titanium.
7. Assonance : Assonance occurs when you repeat a vowel sound in a phrase. “True, I do like Sue.”
Example in a song:
“Say hey, good lookin’. Whatcha got cookin’?” (“Hey Good Lookin' - Hank Williams,
Jr.)
8. Idiom : An idiom is an expression used by a group of people with a meaning that can only be
understood though common usage. “I’m waiting for him to kick the bucket.” (Many idioms
are also considered clichés.)
Example in a song:
“Easy come, easy go” (Grenade – Bruno Mars)
It is an idiom to tell about a person who doesn’t take the relationship seriously

If I fail if I succeed
At least I’ll live as I believe
No matter what they take from me
They can’t take away my dignity
Because the greatest love of all
Is happening to me
I found the greatest love of all
Inside of me
The greatest love of all
Is easy to achieve
Learning to love yourself
It is the greatest love of all
I believe the children are our future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they posses inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier
Let the children’s laughter remind us how we used to be

Find your strength in love
