    Chapter 4: THE REVENUE CYCLE

    Learning the revenue cycle is tough, but after studying and watching the recorded discussion of our topic
    for the week, I have gained a thorough understanding of the lesson. The topic focuses on the tasks
    performed in the revenue cycle, regardless of the technology used, then, the functional departments in the
    revenue cycle and the flow of revenue transactions through the organization, and the documents, journals,
    and accounts needed for audit trails, records, decision making, and financial reporting. Honestly speaking,
    learning this subject is difficult for me, and maybe for some of my classmates, I’ll be encountering lots of
    words or symbols that are not familiar to me, but I’ll take this challenge as a motivation to learn.
