Procedure of replacing the LCD PANEL (LCD5)

1. Turn off the breaker ‘ECS’ on the Relay Panel.

2. Unscrew 8 fixing screws from the LCD panel.

3. Remove the cover.

4. Remove the LCD Panel, and disconnect the earth lead. Turn over to see the
terminals on the rear panel.
5. Cut off the insulation locks tied with the LCD Panel and the Cables.
Release the mounting lock, and remove the LCD Panel from the Control desk

6. Remove the protective cover of the new LCD Panel.

7. Disconnect the terminal blocks from new LCD panel.

Note: There are 14 poles and 10 poles on TB4 or TB1. If numbers of pole are
different between old and new LCD panels, apply the terminal blocks (TB4, TB1)
of the NEW LCD panel.
Please refer to the Arrangements of LCD panel terminal blocks for each case.

2) If numbers of pole on TB1 is different, connect the cables to same numbers on the
TB1 on the New LCD panel.
8. Attach the terminal blocks onto the new LCD panel, and fix the cables with
mounting locks and tie up insulation locks.

9. Install the new LCD with the Control Desk, fit the earth lead and set the cover
with the fixing screws.

10. Turn on the breaker ‘ECS’ on the Relay Panel to activate the LCD Panel.
11. Press the SET, and input 7 five times in the password.

12. Follow the procedure below and save all the data.
Ⅰ.Press ‘EPS（F2）’-＞ Press ‘SAVE（F9）’. After making sure saving the data, press
EXIT (F1) to exit.
Ⅱ.Press ‘ETS（F3）’-＞Press ‘SAVE（F9）’ ,and then press ‘EXIT（F1）’ to exit.
Ⅲ.Press ‘ECSrpm（F4）’-＞Press ‘SAVE（F9）’ , and then press ‘EXIT（F1）’ to exit.
Ⅳ.Press ‘ECStime（F5）’-＞ Press ‘SAVE（F9）’ ,and then press ‘EXIT（F1）’ to exit.
Ⅴ.Press ‘GOVndle（F6）’-＞Press ‘SAVE（F9）’ and then press ‘EXIT（F1）’ to exit.
Ⅵ.Press ‘GOVothr（F7）’-＞ Press ‘SAVE（F9）’, and then press ‘EXIT（F1）’ to exit.
Ⅶ.Press ‘SHDSLD（F8）’-> Press ‘SHUTDOWN（F3）’-> Press ‘SAVE’(F9）’ and then
press ‘EXIT（F1）’ to exit.
Ⅷ．Press ‘SLOWDOWN（F4）’-＞Press ‘SAVE（F9）’ and then press ‘EXIT（F1）’
twice to exit.
Ⅸ.Press ‘CONFIG（F9）’-＞Press ‘ECS（F3）’-＞ Press ‘SAVE（F9）’ and then press
‘EXIT（F1）’ to exit.
Ⅹ. Press ‘ETS（F4）’＞Press ‘SAVE（F9）’ and then press ‘EXIT（F1）’ three times
to return to General display.
