Subject: - Regarding Compulsory Daily Attendance through Bio-Metric Machine.

Sir/Madam,
In continuation of this office letter No. EDN.Ele-H(7)-IT-AEBAS-/2019 dated
23.09.2022 on the subject matter cited above. In this regard It has been observed that the daily
attendance of employees in the offices of DDEE5/BEE05 alongwith the Schools under your
jurisdiction is not being captured through Bio-Metric Machines. If the Bio-Metric Machine is out
of order/not activated/uninstalled thex necessary action may kindly be taken to
repair/install/activate the machine at your own level immediately and compliance report be
sent to this office through email on eleedu-hp@gov.in on or before 25.11.2022.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Hon'ble High Court of H.P has passed an
order to mark compulsory daily attendance through Bio-Metric Machine. Keeping in view the
Hon'ble High Court order (copy attached), you are directed to ensure that daily attendance of
employees may be captured through Bio-Metric Machines with immediate effect.
Non-compliance of these orders will be viewed seriously.
