work only. Therefore, the manual does not include detailed technology details,
please refer to IRIS2 NV elevator assembly manual or test-running adjustment
manual and other relative data.

Notice

 When enter into the hoistway, “Access procedures for upper part
of” car (WWJSSS)” must be followed.
 Please take falling-proof measures for area with falling danger.
 Please do not stride across upper parts of two near elevators.
 Please do not bend upper body near hoistway.
 Please prevent from colliding with counterweight device, it may
bring about serious damage accident.

(1) Determine horizontality of upper guide pulley of counterweight device frame.
(2) Determine whether pulley groove is polluted or there is foreign matter.
(3) Knock bolt and nut, and determine whether there is abnormal condition on
counterweight device frame assembly by listening to its noise.
(4) If counterweight device loosens, in trip, there will be noise. Please screw up fixing
part of counterweight device to prevent that the counterweight device loosens.
(If there is problem, please record it as special item and take special measures.)

(1) If clearance between guide rail and guide shoe is over 2mm (two side sum 4mm),
please determine abrasion state and guide rail RG and fixing position of guide
shoe (state).
(2) If guide shoe is under initial state, front-back abrasion is 2mm, RG abrasion is
about 3mm, please replace it. If the guide shoe is abraded seriously on RG
direction, frame iron material inside the guide shoe will contact with guide rail
mutually, and this condition will cause very loud noise.
(3) If run under the state that it is seriously abraded on RG direction, oil feeder cover
conflicts with fixing bolt of guide rail clamp mutually; open the cover, this condition
may cause that oil brush of the oil feeder loses.
(4) If there is noise sends from counterweight device by spells, please determine
whether there is sufficient oil coated on the guide rail; determine whether there is
foreign matter in clearance between felt washer and guide rail and on felt washer;
and conduct cleaning.

(1) Please determine whether the end of chain is saggy. If balance chain is broken or
drawn excessively and elevator runs in high-speed, this condition will cause
serious friction sound.
(2) When car stops at the lowest floor, larger than 130mm clearance between
balance chain and outside wall of car should be kept; therefore, conflict with the
car caused by balance chain swinging could be prevented in running and
decelerating.
