CONFIDENTIAL - LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION

Enclosed is a letter of recommendation for my student Mr. Prathamesh Parikh to support his graduate application at your esteemed
university. As his professor for undergraduate studies at our institute, I taught him Kinematics of Machinery and oversaw Workshop
Practice in his semester Ill. Over my two years of association with Prathamesh, I have had the opportunity to oversee some of his key
skills and personal qualities. I deem him a highly capable student with tremendous potential to pursue higher studies in his chosen
domain. Through this letter, I would like to apprise you of my overall opinion regarding Prathamesh as a prospective graduate student.

Prathamesh has been a keen learner from the onset. He came across as a sharp and intelligent student with a strong analytical and
logical skills et. I observed that he is a quick learner and understood complex concepts like the law of gearing and acceleration analysis
with absolute ease. I vividly recollect him as a punctual student who would rarely default in submitting assignments and classwork, and
worked rigorously during practicals to find solutions to the problems assigned. He would adopt a disciplined approach during practicals
and often finished complex gear train problems well ahead of the class. Having an inquisitive temperament, he always did his research
to answer difficult questions and did not just restrict himself to the syllabus. In fact, I have observed that he takes great interest in
understanding the applications of the concepts taught in class, which his efficiency in the labs amply attested to. In my opinion,
Prathamesh makes for a diligent student with a strong quest for comprehensive learning. He often approached me to clarify his doubts
and took extra effort to understand the root of theories and concepts. This quest for sincere learning is what sets him apart from his
peers. He possesses vital analytical insights that enable him to articulate and resolve complex problems that require cogent knowledge
of the principles of geometry and topics gravitating around the kinematics machinery. With an overall CGPA of 8.66/10, Prathamesh
stands in good stead regarding his academic caliber.

As his internship evaluator, I am well apprised of the exposure he received during his summer internship at Bristlecone. His internship
involved working on an loT based project titled "Smart Potted Plant" alongside two interns. The aim was to create an autonomous plant-
wise greenhouse system that can be controlled remotely using a website if required. He executed the same using several sensors to
gather real-time information from the plant and leveraged the Arduino microcontroller. Furthermore, he contributed towards
converting data received from the sensors into an easy-to-read visual format displayed on the website. He is adept at loT and coding in
Python and has also submitted an industrial training report based on the project. His industrial training report and presentation at the
end of the tenure spelled meticulousness. They reflected his robust technical competence and analytical acumen that he gained while
working on practical projects. I am also working with him on his current research paper on "Hybrid Metal Matrix Composites," wherein
he aims to undertake a general review on the effect of the addition of reinforcements to metal matrix AA6061 and document its findings.
For this purpose, Prathamesh has been continually involved with extensive literature review and collating relevant data to consolidate
his research. Thus, the project is effectively helping him to sharpen his research acumen further.

What is particularly impressive about Prathamesh is that he stands equally active on the extracurricular front. He skillfully balanced his
time alongside wide-scale extracurricular involvement without letting his academics suffer. As the Head of Creative Content of our
institute's Photography Club, he actively networked with over 150 members to ensure that fresh ideas keep flowing in and managed the
implementation of ideas across various departments of the club. I can thus attest to his solid interpersonal and team-working abilities.
He is a good communicator and a resourceful team member. In his role as the Managing Committee member, Prathamesh also mentored
4 juniors as part of the mentoring program and ensured that they handled the club's activities well. All such initiatives reinforce my
belief in his abilitt~5 to shine through the vibrant environment of graduate school. He is a competent individual with an enthusiastic
temperament and good analytical insights. I deem Prathamesh a perfect fit for pursuing higher studies in his domain. I wholeheartedly
support his graduate application and offer him my highest recommendations.

Sincerely,

~~;k"S'd'"'"d
