Sustainable Development Plan of the Philippines

According to Philippines Sustainable Development Goal Filipinos strive for a healthy work-
life balance, as well as a happy, safe, and peaceful existence. A national survey conducted in late
2015 revealed this long-term goal—the AmBisyon Natin 2040. This was around the time we
passed the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and, as a result, the Philippine
Development Plan (PDP) 2017-2022. We quickly realized that in order to live the life we want,
we must change our planet by achieving sustainable growth and leaving no one behind.
In order to ensure inclusiveness and inclusion, the Philippines' second Voluntary National
Review stresses the need for synergies between government and non-government actions. In
order to achieve the SDGs, the Philippines has taken a whole-of-government and whole-of-
society policy. To ensure robustness, national decisions are based on rules. Established structural
processes are used to coordinate and orchestrate cross-sectoral actions. Stakeholders are kept
updated and actively participate in debates. Our SDG website, which was recently unveiled,
offers a forum for greater interaction, especially with youth and the Filipino diaspora.
The PDP 2017-2022 is the key impetus for action, and we made sure that the SDGs were
included in it. Following Executive Order No. 27, the PDP was also disseminated across the
country, including at the local level (2017). The 2030 numerical goals, which set the desired
speed of development for the SDGs, were defined at the national level. The Results Matrices, a
companion paper to the PDP, represent these goals. The Philippine Statistics Authority's SDG
Watch program keeps track of the Tier 1 metrics.
The regulatory basis for institutionalizing the Alternative Learning System has been developed in
order to provide high-quality education. The Department of Education, in collaboration with the
private sector, has been delivering education programs to the so-called "last mile," which
comprises out-of-school children and other disadvantaged communities.

For My Insight
“We can live the life we want” this phrase mark when I’m reading the Sustainable
Development Goals of the Philippines. Because of this I can say that it all of the goals of the
Philippines about the sustainable development of the Philippines there will be a very big changes
in the way we live our life. Everyone can have a good quality of education and no one will have
left behind everyone is included. And since we have a good quality of education for sure
everyone will have a good work. Another one is if the inequality in the Philippines will reduce
there will be a peace, justice, and strong institution. As I tried to understand deeper the
Sustainable Development Goals of the Philippines I realize the all of them are connected to one
another. And so therefore if one of the goal will not be fulfilled the other might also follow
especially when the quality education goals will not be fulfilled others will be affected. But
overall I can say that the Philippines has a very good Sustainable Development Goals that
everyone will benefits and not only everyone but also to our country.
