    Q1(a)(i) - 2 mark each for the three columns and data.

    Q1(a)(iii) – no marks according to MS.

    Q1(a)(iv) - 1 mark for temperature. Volume and the amount of yeast solution were not
    mentioned.

    Q2(a)(i) - mark was for the all the criteria for drawing an image.

    Q2(b)(i) – marks were awarded for correct calculation. No mark was awarded for not
    providing the final answer in significant two decimal figures.

    Q2(b)(ii) – marked for correct labelling of both axes

    Marks were reduced for no key given and marking the appropriate gradient on the X axis and
    axis due to the gradient the point of intersection were wrong

    Q2(b)(iii) - full marks awarded according MS

    Q2(c)(i) - variables were added awarded one mark but the reliability ,safety precautions were
    missing
