Introduction
The emergence of new technology has resulted into new way of reading. Most
people nowadays prefer the e-books. However, this method has myriad of challenges.
When reading from screens the individual is likely to acquire habits like; mental
resources whereby they find it difficult to remember the content learned. They strain a lot
due to various monitors emitting light like LCDs. Popping notifications on the screen
might derail away their attention. Most of them tend to be lazy as the internet has all the
resources giving them less time to think. In the classroom, these habits can be addressed
through the use of learning A-Z. The tool provides lessons and improving vocabulary
among children this will help in reducing time spent reading on the screens. iPads also
aid in learning by providing the instruction as well as the cautions like measures to take
while reading via screens. Reading groups allow the children to critically think and
brainstorm on a certain concept hence minimizing them from reading through the screens
(Montiel et al. 2020). If not addressed the habits can undermine the students score on
benchmark books and passages. When the students are lazy, they will not read the books
fully. Students with impaired vision due to monitor lights will face difficulty reading
compared to other books. They contain real-life practical skills that help in daily life. The
skills are; problem-solving techniques as one can easily solve arising problems (Hermita
et al 2020). Motivation skills especially those who almost give up are motivated to
continue striving hard by the use of funny images. Moreover, the books also provide
literacy skills like building a pool of vocabulary from reading the stories. It builds
