1. Introduction:
The attributes of medical profession are known as professional developmental skills that are
required to gain fundamental understanding of the situations. The attributes of the professional
person are to commit to the integration of the principles and the professional identity. These
attributes let the person sustain and analyze the professional manifestation of the career that has
been adopted. Some of the attributes that are carried out by the professional people includes
caring, insight, openness, Truth, confidence and self regulations (Bravender, 2009).This report
consists of the attributes that are adopted among the code of ethics. The attribute that would be
selected in the report is confidentiality.

Explanation:

2. Confidentiality:
It is known as the set of rules or promise that are usually being executed through the
confidentially agreements which limits the access or place restriction on the certain types of the
information gathered. Confidentially is the situation which is manifested to analyze the situation
of the person regarding the performance. The term medical ethics also refers to the universal
principles upon the teaching medical decisions that should be based on the beliefs and actions
which successfully influence the day to day judgments of the doctor. Confidently is the attribute
which should be used by the students to sustain the privacy concerns. It should be govern to all
medical practice students which can sustain the self interest, money, distribution of resources and
individual technical skills which are important for the motivating factors among the students
(Bravender, 2009).

To some of the extent, the major practice of surgery is influenced by the need of self protection
in the medical students but in trying to avoid the litigation a surgeon student may also over treat
or over investigate in ways that are un necessary and are may be unethical also. The degree of
self interest is inevitable but depending on the guiding principle it should be that the patient’s
interest is paramount (Chang, 2019). The students of the medical profession to adopt this
attribute because the patients often allow the National Health Service (NHS) to gather the
sensitive information regarding the health of the patient along with the situation of the student.
To gain this confidence and legitimate the staff will expect the respect of the trust (Ford, 2018).

Confidentity is the private situation which should be adopted by the student and he need not to
disclose it at any may without the consent of the patient. The level of information that is saved
via confidentiality in NHS is that Caldecott Guardians are the senior staff in NHS and social
services which are appointed that protects the patients information locally.

3. Code of ethics:
The code of ethics of confidentially includes:

 In any profession whether is medical or not the personal information about the persons
served professionally or participants involved in research should not be disclosed.
 Confidential information needs to be safe to save the welfare of the person (Ford, 2018).

4. Curriculum plan:

Attributes to nurture Description Time taken

Confidentiality To maintain the privacy of the Depends upon the stability of
patient the student
Trustworthy To gain the trust of the patient Depends upon experience
by sustaining the correct gained
information and treating them
well
Autonomy To maintain the behaviour by Depend on experience
prioritizing the patient
Self regulation To self regulate and access the Depend on experience
stability and problem of the
patient
These attributes would be nurtured among the students to maintain the code of ethics and
sustainability among them. Trustworthy is also the code of the ethics for the attributes of the
professionalism to maintain and sustain the developmental chain of professionalism.

5. Reflection:
Situation that was gathered for the confidentiality of the students that needs to be adopted by
them was to keep the information of the patients private. As the situation was concerned
regarding the surgical aspects and information gained through the information process. The
students should consider it as that critical aspect to keep the information private. The major thing
that was learned from the situation is disclosing any of the private information of the patient by
the student can be very serious (Hassan, 2022). It can also affect the rules an deregulation of the
students life. As every person develops their own situation and identity in life, like that every
physician will also develop the professional identity over the course of training and carrier. The
major modifications that could be made regarding the attributes include students needs to adopt
the professional identity throughout the life. Education is the major aspect that can cause the
confidentially among the students and support them regarding the process identity formation
rather than ensuring that students understand the medical professionalism or not. The cognitive
base of the professionalism needs to be improve to maintain the privacy concerns of the patients
by the students (Ting, 1999).

6. Conclusion:
To conclude, confidentially is the major attribute that needs to be adopted to sustain the privacy
concerns of the student and the patient. The surgeons and the doctors who are in the field of
professionalism do not sustain this attribute and do not reveal the information of the patient also.
Trustworthy is another professional attribute that needs to be adopted by the student. So that the
patient would trust them that they would not reveal their personal information.
