Do a research and list ten (10) things to do in order to boost your self-esteem or improve your

self-concept. Cite your sources. Analyze which of those tips are more likely to backfire and make
someone conceited or narcissistic and revise them in order to make the statements both helpful
to the individual as well as society in general.

1. Do what makes you happy


If you spend time doing things that you enjoy, you are more likely to think positively. Try
to schedule a small amount of your daily time. If time is spent reading, cooking or just going
out on the couch a little, if it makes you happy, take the time to do it.

2. A new skill is great


When you become accustomed to something that matches your talents and interests,
you increase your ability to comprehend.

3. Help someone
Being helpful and considerate to other people will definitely boost their mood, but it will
also make you happy about yourself.

4. Let negative people go


Find people who make you happy about yourself and avoid those that tend to trigger
your negative thoughts.

5. Care about your appearance


Small things like choosing something flattering to wear, taking the time to change your
hairstyle, or accessing an outfit can be pointless and superficial, but they can really help
you feel better. better yourself.

6. Do something creative
Creative activities are a great way to bring back the flow of your life. Creativity stimulates
the brain, so the more you use it, the greater the benefits. Pull your old guitar, write a story
or poem, take a dance class or sign up for a community theater production. When you add
the challenge of trying something new, it helps you a lot.

7. Nobody's perfect
Always strive to be the best version of yourself, but it is also important to accept that
perfection is an unrealistic goal

8. Be nice to yourself
You get to train the self-love you deserve. This is especially important when you are
giving your love to others. A great way to give yourself love is through a skill called "mirror
work" taught by the depth of Louise Hay. Walk up to the mirror, and praise yourself - as
simple as that. It can be anything from "Your hair looks beautiful now" to "I love the real,
beautiful, unique person you are!"

9. Stop comparing Yourself to others


Your self-esteem is your own unique piece of the Universe. When you compare yourself
to others, you are undervaluing who you really are. Realize your true self-esteem. Can still
help improve your worth.

10. Eat Healthy


Eating a healthy diet has many benefits including better health, better mood, and a
happier digestive system that will thank you for eating this way. You will find even more
favorable numbers on the scale! So, take the special dinner out of the closet and hang it on
the wall for motivation - you're on your way.
