TASK 1

Teaching is not a job it is a vocation

TRY 1.

The decision to enter into a career in teaching is not something to be taken lightly. There are hundreds
and hundreds of other careers to choose from. So, I ask myself this question and ponder the reasons
why I have traveled into this so-called "noble profession." Education, People have asked me why I picked
education so many times that I can't even count, but my response is always, "Why not education?"
Although some people may find the compensation unpleasant, teaching isn't given the moniker "noblest
vocation" for nothing.

Everyone has the misconception that teaching is merely a demeaning profession—one you could never
be proud of. Why? Because of the low salary of teachers, sometimes unpaid, the affordability of the
course, in which, admit it or not, most people engaged in the teaching profession are neither rich nor
poor, and people's perception of teaching as a profession is that it is easy—this is why it is only intended
for people with average intelligence.

Knowing how our countrymen feel about teachers in that way is quite upsetting. Because of this, they
even contribute to worsening the negative perception of teachers rather than improving it. Don't these
folks realize how important teachers are in forming today's younger generations? How do educators
have a significant impact on students' lives? How can a teacher ensure everyone has a great future?

Education and character are the two most significant traits that parents and teachers establish in their
pupils.

Every student has a unique gift that is hidden and untapped, as recognized by the teacher. It is up to him
or her to find it and nurture it. Therefore, it is the duty of a teacher to uncover and unearth the hidden
abilities, skills, and intelligence of their students. They are in possession of the priceless key that can lock
or unlock their learners' future. Teachers will be able to generate talented and skilled individuals who
will be assets to the country and, in the long term, help with the advancement and progress of our
nation if they can unlock these crucial concepts. Therefore, to grow our nation and bring it to the top of
the list of successful nations in the world, professional expertise and intellect are necessary.

Unlocking the talents and abilities, however, is insufficient. Because no matter what values we possess,
if we allow them to reside in the unfathomable part of our hearts and souls but carry them out in our
daily and even the smallest routine in life outpouring triumphs will surround us. Imbibing values, proper
attitudes, and behavior should be taught to learners. But if educators are unable to instill principles in
their students, then everyone will cause harm to their neighbors, causing them to live in a chaotic world.
And if that occurs, today's generation's future will be impacted. Who is at fault, then? None other than
"we," the modern-day teachers.

Teachers are responsible for the future because of this. They can significantly influence not only the
future of the globe but also the future of learners. No one else but "we," the instructors of today, can
improve everyone's quality of life in this planet.

When I was a young child, I asked my mother what I would do; would I become a teacher, doctor, nurse,
engineer, or police officer? She simply replies, "Whatever," smiling, adding, "We're here to assist and
guide you." Growing up, I came from a family of teachers. Both of my parents are educators, and most
of my relatives work in education. I never see myself working in that industry,

Even though many people claim that ahh mag tteacher yan kasi teacher din parents Niya, I must admit
that being a teacher has never crossed my thoughts. I just smirked awkwardly at myself since I never
saw myself working in that industry, but as the Pandemic spread, I saw how committed my parents were
to their line of work. At that same moment, when I volunteered to assist with printing and compiling
each module and sending it to each student they had scattered throughout the country, I realized how
difficult becoming a teacher would be.

After graduating from senior high school, I decided to follow my parent's footstep. My decision to enter

And at some point in their career, they will be retired. Some people might say that retirement is a
bad thing because it means they will have time to rest and relax and just be normal people. But for
teachers, retirement means they can finally rest after all the hard work they put in during their lifetime as a
teacher. And there's a time that we will encounter them in an unexpected time and place and they will be
surprised they might not recognize you at first but once you reminisce the past
