Questions Andrew:
- booklet project guide?
- It is not necessary
- HALL33 as archive (Borges) - Booklet is limited
- # examples of archives - Newspaper
- Staged ‘encounter’ 1 on 1 - How can this be made spatially?
- Encounter with the history - NL contribution PQ15 > live blog
- How can we let the spatial form of the research - Carrying something forward
shape the installation? - Estafette
- How is the proces itself actively informing about - Forward facing documentation + instruction
the end-result?

Connection with the University of Abersystwyth: Long term

- emphasis on space - how to engage people again or sequentially?
- New MA program - What is the role of an online platform?
- Studio based program for a year - Serving the offline story
- Link with Bauhaus (Aberhaus)
- Link with Adrian (London) Answers Andrew:
- Broadening networks

- Transmitting physical training
- Offline website

Analysis HALL01+02
Random notes - HALL01 > -‘sawdust’-space turn around
HALL0?: disruptive instruction (scale - HALL01 > small space (sitting next to each other)
models) - HALL01+02 > ‘rational’ approach
- HALL02 > immediately entering HALL from outside
Cardboard > temporary > quick - HALL02 > stage at the end
- Dramaturgy of entry. Outside>alone>dark
Representation > Space > Experience. - Incorporate this outside-entry in HALL33 (play with
(Encounter) expectation of the outside ‘surface’)

HALL33 is not the right research topic

What is the relationship between representation (image, video, smell,…), the

experience and the actual concept?

1-2-3 Steps KHOR II, offer framework for ‘learning’ hierarchy (translate to HALL33)

TAAT - HALL07 18 12 22_LIVE ARCHIVE
(01) Imaginary Construction : The building is created in your head.

- Flyer image + text

- Context (i.e. Germany>church>christianity>belgische viertel>hip>summer>……)

- “theater play” with architecture?!

- representations previous visitors
- instructions/ introduction
- wondering “Who is the other?”

(02) Sensory Construction-Individual: The building is created through sensory experience.

- dark, small space
- not possible to have a complete overview
- exchange between sensor experience and frame of reference

(03) Sensory Construction-Relational: The building is created through sensory experience including the presence of other(s).
- sensory confirmation of the presence of the other
- realisation that the space/building functions as a mediator between you and the other(s)
- discovering the space together
- discovering your behaviour influences the space/ discovering the space influencing your behaviour
- becoming aware of the context (the space/building around HALL)
- you need each other to continue

(04) Mental Reconstruction: The building is created through remembering

- the processing of the experience
- how does this experience relatie to my ideas about architecture, theatre, strangers, performing,….
- what did the experience evoke in me?
- How do I relatie to the other afterwards?

(05) Representation: The building is created through text, image, smell, dialogue,….
- sharing the experience with each other and third party (i.e. TAAT, a friend, a random other visitor,…)

- photo-, video-, social media- reports
- HALL06 perfume
