Activity: LETTER FROM MOM

Dear Mom,

First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude for having you as my

mother, and I greatly appreciate the letter you gave me. Mom, thank you for
opening my eyes and making me know that in this world full of mystery, it is
necessary to think beyond the box. You always give the finest advice that fits
my current position, and you never pass judgment or prejudice. I realize that
being an adult hasn't been simple. I'm particularly vulnerable when I'm
emotionally distressed or when I'm under stress. Over the last few years, I've
realized that the amount of time I spend with family members has become so
small - in some cases, nonexistent. Nowadays, I spend my time socializing
with my friends, studying, working, or simply relaxing in my room watching
Netflix. I seem to have forgotten about the folks that have gotten me to
where I am now that I am in high school. I've forgotten about the one person
who helped form me into the person I've become. I know I was a handful
during my adolescence. I made your life more difficult than it needed to be.
But I want you to know that all of the snark and backtalk was a mistake. I
should never have treated you the way I did, and I want to apologize for all of
the anguish and pain I've given you, because you didn't deserve any of it.

Thank
You
Lots of love,
Andre
Portfolio Output No. 17: Reflections on Personal Relationships

It is critical to have a positive relationship with your family. It is

always beneficial to have a solid relationship with your family since
you may develop trust and know they will always be there for you.
When you're in a relationship with someone, they can constantly judge
you by how they want you to be and not always be genuine to you.
Your family will always give you the truth and will never say things
they don't mean only to get your approval. True friendship is still one
of the most rewarding relationships you can have. Friends are not like
your parents since there are certain things you do not do with them.
You can communicate differently with your friends, act differently,
and engage in activities that you do not do with your family. You
would not be able to tell who you are if relationships did not exist.
Relationships allow you to interact with the people you care about the
most. Life would be dull if relationships did not exist. You would be
unable to express yourself or acquire someone's regard. If my
connections with my friends and family were to stop, I would have
nothing to look forward to on a bad day or when you just needed to
have a good time. Relationships reveal who a person truly is.
