Module 4 and 5
Odette, the typhoon, had a huge impact on our life. The academic
school year was also substantially impacted as a result of this. But that did not
hinder the plans we have prepared for the scholars. Given that the Second
Semester was delayed, we had to adjust the calendar and fuse some of the
Normalite Leaders’ Academy’s remaining modules.
Last March 12, we successfully conducted the Modules’ 4 and 5 headed
by the Core Team Lance Patrick Manhilot, Daryl Jean Astillo, Deann Martin
Durano, and Ken Vincent Ochia. We were also graced by the presence of our
resource speakers: 𝐃𝐫. 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐩𝐡 𝐄𝐥𝐯𝐢𝐫 𝐂. 𝐓𝐮𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐧, who were tasked to speak about
"Digital Native: Becoming Information Literate" and 𝐃𝐫. 𝐉𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐫 𝐃. 𝐏𝐚ñ𝐨, to talk
about "Sustainable Development: Targeting Goals by Identifying Relevant
Advocacies." Our scholars have showcased how they could apply their
learnings from Dr. Tubilan's talk on Module 4 as they were able to create a
manuscript and deliver a public speech. Also, after the talk of Dr. Paño, the
scholars had an open and healthy discussion about the different issues
concerning the five pillars of SDG. As an assessment for Module 4, the scholars
were tasked to create an infographics with the following contents: 𝐕𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐫’𝐬
𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐕𝐨𝐭𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 & 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐔𝐬𝐞 𝐎𝐟 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚. For Module 5, they were
asked to create a tiktok video incorporating the SDGs.
Through these compelling insights and applications, we have written
another wonderful chapter of our NLA stories!
Module 6 and 7
The heads for Module 6 and 7: Core Team Gleziel Angelie Lobo, Angel N.
Añana, Christian R. Giango and Raizah G. Libradilla planned that these
modules will be conducted on April 23, 2022. So far, we already had a series of
meetings with the Core Team as to what would be our responsibilities during the
proper event. The invited resource speaker for Module 6 would be Ms. Cathyrine
Tapulado who will be sharing her insights about “Exploring the World of
Leadership”. As a capstone project for the scholars before officially graduating
from NLA Season 6 would be a Webinar encompassing the objective
