To say Education is important is an understatement. Education is a weapon to

improve one’s life. Education helps in spreading knowledge in society. This is perhaps
the most noteworthy aspect of Education. There is a quick propagation of knowledge in
an educated society. Furthermore, there is a transfer of knowledge from generation to
another by Education. Alongside with education are the educators their selves. I believe
that one factor for a successful education is a good teacher. Having the ability to teach
effectively is a great help in achieving a quality education especially in the context of
Special and Inclusive Education. And in terms of philosophy in education, I feel most in
a pragmatic approach to teaching where a classroom isn’t just about having a teacher in
front of students listening to her, it is about a classroom being a community of learners.
As a future educator, I need to let my students have their freedom in learning. An
inclusive education primarily includes those students who have special needs that
should be addressed. We should also know that students can sometimes be disruptive
and may show characteristics that are inappropriate however, we should be able to
balance how should we addressed these behaviors in a good way because still, they
are students needing support and assistance but at the same time, they need to be
given the freedom to work on their own for them to learn how to be independent.
Furthermore, as what I have mentioned, I aspire to be a pragmatic kind of
educator where I can have a democratic approach where students are given enough
assistance and freedom in learning. I need to be a facilitator where learning in the
classroom is two-way, students can learn from me and I can also learn from them. In
this way, students are more likely to be engaged and interested in what they are taught
if I, the teacher is also learning and exploring with them. One example of this is getting
to know my students which may help me know their way of learnings so I could assist
them based on their different ways of learning especially if they are students who needs
special assistance, through knowing them, I can be a teacher who can facilitate their
needs effectively.
I believe, to be an effective teacher is to have an effective classroom
management. I can choose what kind of management I can have or I can also adopt
one as long as it is beneficial for both the students and the teacher. In a classroom, I
can establish rules and right conduct needed to be followed by my students such as
saying hello to the teacher, praying before starting the class, cleaning and etc. These
are simple rules, but for these kids, it's a step-by-step process until they're self-
sufficient. And if I will introduce my classroom management in 21 days to my students
effectively, I should be consistent on making them follow these set of rules. Through
this, teachers and students feel more organized and less stressed when there is
consistency. The participation and engagement of your students will increase as a result
of consistency, which makes students feel more at ease and comfortable in your
classroom. Students' and their parents' trust and respect for a teacher increase with
how consistent they are in their classroom management.
Classroom management, in my opinion, is the most important aspect of any
educational setting. I believe that learning can occur when students are in a safe
environment. This does not necessarily imply punishing students for bad behavior, but
rather a combination of setting the tone in the classroom, preventing bad behavior with
interesting and engaging curriculum, and efficaciously including all learners in the
classroom such that their needs are fulfilled. My main goal in instituting effective
classroom management, providing a conducive learning environment for all students;
without it, students would find it difficult to learn.
