Based on the video that you just watched, what is our life's true calling?
How can you apply that in your calling to teach?
I realized a lot after seeing Teacher Sabrina's speak. According to her, our true
calling in life has always been to love. Other things will follow if we know how to love.
According to what she stated, our genuine calling in life contains three words: purpose,
context, and belief. What is the point of our presence here? Context: What is the
situation in which we wish to intervene? Finally, there is belief, or what we believe in.
We may easily cope with the genuine substance of these phrases in our life and job if
we know how to love. Furthermore, as a prospective teacher, Sabrina's presentation
provided me with a wealth of knowledge on how to interact with kids, not just as a
student but as a person as well. According to her, educators must do more than simply
educate; we must also love our kids, which we can only accomplish if we get to know
them better. The way we treat our pupils influences how they treat others. If we treat
kids with love, respect, and compassion, they will treat others similarly. We must also be
patient because all pupils have various learning capacity, yet a competent teacher can
discover solutions to this problem. Finally, two-way communication should be practiced.
Students should be given the opportunity to be heard as well. Professors can learn from
their students just as much as students can learn from their teachers since everyone
has a distinct story to tell that could touch everyone’s heart.
