In this lesson students practice saying the months of the year. Students put months into
the correct order
OBJECTIVES: The General objective is to reinforce their speaking and listening skills, to identify and
pronounce correctly the target language and use it in a real life situation.
• Knowledge: The focus in the class is on conversation in order to help improve students’ fluency
and confidence when speaking in English as well as boosting their vocabulary.
Structure : How many months are there in a year? / What is the first month of the year*
• TEACHING AIDS: classe materials (Flash cards, W-Board, work sheets, etc)

To clarify the meaning, - Lesson starts by asking
form and pronunciation selected students when + Board + Flash cards
of the target language they have their birthday.
Then scribe the names of T-S conversation
each birthday month on to
the board.
Then Ask Sts if they can
read through the months
that are there. Are there
any months missing?
