Lesson 1 Parts of the Body

OBJECTIVES: The General objective is to reinforce their speaking and listening skills, to
identify and pronounce correctly the target language and use it in a real life situation.
- In this lesson students identify and practice talking about different parts of the body

• Knowledge: The focus in the class is on conversation in order to help


improve students’ fluency and confidence when speaking in English as
well as boosting their vocabulary.
• Skills: To develop learners’ listening and speaking skills,
L : Identifying and using proper vocab in a sentence to
S : - Identifying and talking about different parts of the body
- The use of topic related vocab in real life situation
 Target Vocab: head, shoulders, knees, toes, eyes, ears, mouth, nose, etc.

• TEACHING AIDS: classe materials (Flash cards, Sticky ball, work sheets, etc)

Prepare flashcards of the


parts of the body. Slowly
reveal each flashcard card
and have your students touch
their part of the body (so,
when i show the "head"
flashcard get everyone to
touch their heads).
Then i will lay the flashcards
that i have just taught in
front of me, facing the
students (or lined up on the
board). Randomly i touch
each card and have the
students touch that part of
their body and say the word
3 times.
