50 m/s. Calculate the maximum height of the bullet when
a. Ignore air resistance 127.421 m
Problem 2:
Calculate the moment of inertia about the axis O of the bar and
the plate. OA = L, plate radius is R = L/4 and the mass of the bar
OA is equal to the mass of the plate and equal to M.
(185/96).M.(L^2)
Problem 3:
A system consists of a rigid bar OA with a hollow plate B as shown
in the figure. The dimensions and weights are as follows:

a. Determine the coordinates of system’s center of mass C.
b. Determine the moment of inertia of the system with respect to O.
Problem 4:
Determine the reaction force of pairs and the balance moment

where lAB = 0.05 m; ACB = 300, CAB = 900. The slider is subject
to a resistance P =200N parallel to the frame and through point C.
Ignore friction on the sliding plane and at the rotating pairs.

position CAB = 300, link 3 is subjected to the external force ⃗ .
Assume that the force and moment of inertia at the moving links
are infinitely small with respect to the external force. Determine
balance moment on the driving link 1.
M(cb) = 4/3 (can3) a.F(3) Nm
Problem 8:
Consider the mechanism with BC = a, α = 900, φ = 300. Driving link has
constant angular velocity ω1 (direction as shown). Link 3 is subjected to the
work resistant force ⃗ .
a. Calculate the velocity of link 3 in terms of ω1 and a.
b. Assume that the force and moment of inertia at the moving links are
negligible. Calculate the balance moment on the driving link 1.
Problem 9:
Consider quick-return mechanism with AB = AC = a, BD = a 2

Problem 10:
Consider the crank-slider with ABC = 900, ACB = 450 và lAB = 0.2 m. Slider 3
is subjected to the resistant force P3 = 1000N at point E at a distance h = 0.12 m
