Baril Module 1
1BSA1- Non Abm Emotional Intelligence

Written Reflective Learning

Emotional Intelligence, I learned a lot from this subject. So first, Emotional

intelligence, it refers to the ability to identify, manage and control one's own emotions, as
well as the emotions of others. I’ve gained myself self-awareness, social awareness,
motivation, and compassion to others as I’m gradually learning this whole emotional
intelligence module 1 . I’ve learned that it is important as developing myself to be a
better person. I’ve become more productive that helps me to solve problems and manage
conflict more efficiently. I’m so happy of gaining those skills. And by keeping my self
cool when things go wrong and always treating others with respect, I possess key
emotional intelligence attributes and make myself to learn more about taking proactive
role in controlling my emotional state that helps me to improve crucial skills over time.
It’s truly pleasing of discovering myself.

Now, There are also things that a leader with emotional intelligence never does. First, I
possessed of not losing my cool because I’m a long-tempered person now and always
forgive people. I also swallow my emotions that make me to not lose my composure and
manage my feelings in every situation. Of course, I also possessed of avoiding conflicts
because I really don’t like fuss and you don’t always necessarily have to prove
everything. I also come up with new ideas and learning skills instead of holding grudges
and scared of getting failure. It is clearly true that increasing emotional intelligence can
improve one's decision making ability, knowing for myself that I possessed those abilities
from above that perceive me as a person with emotional intelligence.

And lastly, emotional intelligence is all about having a positive attitude towards
learning about myself and having the will to improve and be better. I didn’t only improve
my emotional wellness from this module but I’ve also gained a good positive attitude that
made myself to develop better.
