Written Reflective Learning

Leadership, I’ve learned about leadership from this module more than I know. In order for me to
become a great leader I'll need to: Identify my own emotional strength and weaknesses, identify my
personal stressors, and my own emotional states related to my workplace. I also have to Develop my
awareness of my own emotional triggers and use this awareness to enable control over my emotional
responses. This is only the first step for me to develop my leadership, how about the characteristics that I
possess? Tackling about characteristics, I currently possess of having self-awareness because I know my
strength and weaknesses. Compassion because I definitely care for my people. I respect my members
because anyone is apt of it. Lastly, I possess an authenticity that I speak to them genuinely and honestly. I
know I still lack of being a perfect leader but I’m up for developing.

I’ve also discovered ways that could help me to solve problems. I should possess optimism that look
for the brighter future, management that my works have to be organized, creativity that should make
myself to create more ideas and possibilities to solve problems, think logically that facts should be stated
and conceived. Devil’s advocate that I have to identify the dangers and difficulties and lastly, emotion
that I should be intuitive and have to regroup my feelings to form a conclusion. When approaching
problems these set of priorities and perspectives will help me to focus my discussion and consider the
project from a wide variety of angles.

At last, to be a great leader I should determine the strength, weakness, opportunity and threat of my
association because when I Look at it using the SWOT framework, I can start to craft a strategy that will
help me distinguish what makes my group unique from others. I should also dream up the most
unattainable, extreme, and impractical solutions that I can think of to a given problem. Consider and
discuss the ideas in detail, with the aim of triggering new but more realistic concepts to pursue. I’m
making up myself to be a great leader for upcoming happenings as it vital as it is to keep me developing
as a leader, and implement a strong sense of self-belief, to encourage others to grow, to convey trust and
to earn the trust of others and resolve any problems that my corporation is facing of. I’m pleased of
learning this new knowledge and apply these learnings in my life.
