NARRATIVE REPORT ON THE FILIPINO VALUES MONTH CELEBRATION

Pursuant to the Presidential Proclamation No. 479: Declaring the

Month of November of Every Year as Filipino Values Month and in
compliance with DepEd Memorandum 101 s. 2022, the celebration 2022
NATIONAL OBSERVANCE OF THE FILIPINO VALUES MONTH with the
theme, “Magagandang Kaugaliang Pilipino: Isabuhay at Pagyamanin Tungo
sa Matiwasay at Maunlad na Kinabukasan”, Tupsan National High School
joins and celebrates the said event.

In lieu with this, all teachers had complied with integration and
commemoration of Filipino Values in their lessons regardless of the subjects
they were handling. In addition, students were encouraged to participate in
various activities which values integration is evident.

While conducting the activities, all students were given equal

opportunities to join ensuring that there was no disruption of classes.

These were the following activities conducted during the whole month
celebration:

1. Gospel Reading during Flag Ceremony

2. Essay Writing Contest
3. Poster Making Contest
4. Slogan Making Contest

There were 36 participants in the poster making, 11 in the slogan

making and 23 in the essay writing contest. It was successfully implemented
with the help of all teachers, judges and school principal. Many had shown
their interest and skills in the said activities but it was also observed that
participants forgot some of the Filipino Values. Thus, it is indeed a big
challenge to all teachers, stakeholders, DepEd, and most especially to the
parents to inculcate to students’ minds and hearts the values for them to
have harmonious and progressive life in the future.

celebration.
