Some people believe that teaching children at home is best for a child's
development while others think that it is important for children to go to
school. Discuss the advantages of both methods and give your own
opinion

It is an often debated topic regarding the method to teach children. Some

people argue that learning at home is best for them, while others
contend that school education benefits toddlers. This essay will elucidate
on both the views along with my opinion.

To commence with, learning at home has various advantages for

children. First and foremost is that a child will have the flexibility to learn
at their own pace. This will help them to understand each topic well. For
example, more time can be allotted to learn about difficult subjects like
maths or physics. Secondly, as parents know their kids well, they can use
a method that is best suited for their infants. Moreover, this will make
their learning interesting and less complex. For instance, parents can
teach each topic in a form of a story which will help the kids easy to
interpret and grasp them.

On the contrary, I believe that schools are the best place to acquire
knowledge. Firstly, in a school, every subject is taught by professionals.
These teachers will have vast knowledge about the topic they teach.
Consequently, students can clear all their doubts with detailed
explanations from the teachers who have mastered these subjects.
Furthermore, the school environment develops confidence and helps the
children to socialize, thus developing soft skills. These skills are essential
and useful for later stages of life. To illustrate, soft skills are necessary to
get a job in the future. Even more, this expertise will make them capable
to live in society.

To conclude, even though both teaching methods have their own merits,
but, I believe that schools are far better learning places, as they built
confidence and mould them to be a better person to live in society. So all
parents should enrol and encourage their kids to attend schools.

Some people believe that all wild animals should be protected. Others
say that few wild animals should be protected instead. Discuss both
views and give your opinion.

A set of individuals feel the need to guard all the savage

animals ,whereas, others opine that only a handful of those is really
required to be concentrated on.The aim of the current essay is to review
both opinions and give my viewpoint.

The standpoint that all the wild creatures are required to be conserved
comes from the following reasons.Firstly, many savage forest creatures
are dying due to the lack of natural reserves like water.Hence, it is
required to see that they do not dye due to thirst and hunger in the
forests.Secondly, undomestic animals are now coming out from their
habitats as humans are entering their areas on the pretext of housing
construction in all the available open areas. For instance, nowadays
outskirts which are the prime open areas are the main hubs for the
construction of apartments. Therefore, there is a necessity to protect all
the wild living things.

On the other hand, some people feel that undomesticated creatures that
are at the edge of extinction should be especially concentrated. The
main objective behind this idea is in some critters, there are only a few
numbers available and even if these are not guarded , they may vanish
very early.Besides this, some animals are really facing a human threat. For
example, tigers are poached and murdered for their skin. Thus a lot of
killings are seen in these species.Due to all these objectives, I feel that
paying concentration on the wild animal species which are borne to
danger is very much necessary.

To conclude, the essay has discussed different opinions of the people

about conserving savage beasts.Overall, I am more inclined towards the
latter view as it is our duty to give priority to the animals that are going to
be disappeared.

Many people want their country to host an international sporting

event. Others believe that international sporting events bring more
problems than benefits. Discuss both views and state your opinion.

Being an organiser of international sports events like the Olympics is

considered as a matter of prestige for a nation whereas another opinion
is that it is not good. Both of the contrasting viewpoints will be discussed
in this essay along with my opinion and conclusion.

To begin with, hosting an international game challengest opens the door

for many novel opportunities. For example, it gives a boost to the tourism
sector as many players, media, spectators etc. travel across the border to
witness the moment. Additionally, building an infrastructure to host at a
bigger scale leads to massive construction work which gives employment
to the poor as well as skilled workforce, which in turn leads to the boom
in the economy. Furthermore, the up-gradation of the sports facilities
and public transportation is a consequential outcome. Not only the status
of the host is enhanced in the global arena but it also gives exposure to
the local budding players by making them witness the competition of the
highest scale.
On the other hand, a section of individuals thinks that hosting an
international competition is not good as a huge sum of money is spent on
the preparation as well as the main ceremony which could otherwise be
spent on making the citizens especially lower economic strata to help
them meet both ends. They feel that the government must prioritise the
things and focus on providing the basic amenities rather than spending it
on the unnecessary things requiring a handsome expenditure. For
instance, a man dying from hunger has nothing to do with the pastime.
Besides, the influx of so many foreigners can lead to an increase in the
incidences of crime. Sometimes, it is seen that traffic is diverted due to
the schedule. The holidays are declared to avoid congestion on roads. All
these things add to the hardships of a common man.

In my opinion, global events should be hosted by those countries which

have been able to provide their citizens with the basic needs of life.
Alternatively, poor and developing ones should focus on training the
athletes by providing them with enough facilities like cash assistance, a
good diet and the best coaches. Firstly, They should try to eliminate
poverty before thinking about organising international competitions
involving the outlay of a hefty amount. Hence, it would be an injustice to
the millions of needy and hungry people watching grandiose celebrations
and lights from far with an empty stomach.

To conclude, I would say that the hosting of international events directly

depends on the fiscal position of a country. If it has sufficient money, it is
good to host a competition and conversely, if it is poor, it has a long way
to go before thinking about spending a lion's share on them. This
balanced approach looks completely justified in my point of view.

Some say that music, art and drama are as important as other school
subjects, especially at the primary level. Do you agree or disagree?

A few individuals assert that performing arts are to be given equal

importance with remaining subjects like science and maths necessarily at
the elementary sections.I support the given point due to the fact that
think these creative subjects helps in increasing the inventive capacity in
the pupils. The following paragraphs will elaborate on my opinion.

Teaching these creative skills to the students at an early age has two
main benefits.Firstly, these classes will make the pupils express
themselves. As a result, children can try to find a source to unwind
themselves.Secondly, music, drama and art need a lot of brainstorming.
Therefore, kids try to use their own ideas at an early age.For instance, to
start a painting , pupils need to think about the scenery they want to
portray so they discuss it with their teacher and develop their own
ideas.Hence, improving their imagination in their childhood. These
objectives made me inclined towards the given viewpoint.
Certainly, other subjects like science, maths and social are highly
important. While those studies teach cognitive skills to the kids,
introducing creative classes at the primary level will enhance their
thinking capabilities at a very early age.For example, all these crafts
require to use of their memory ,as a consequence, children try to use
their memory, which tests their mental capacity. Thus both science and
arts are to be included in the elementary curriculum.

To conclude,it is very much required to include performing crafts in the

schools at a very early session.Owing to the advantages of adding them , I
agree with the given statement.

Some school leavers tend to go for travelling or work for a period of

time before directly going to university. What do you think are the
advantages and disadvantages?

It is undeniable that many people, especially students, nurture to have a

gap before enrolling in college after finishing their schooling. During this
break, learners like to wander around in a tourist spot or engage in
extracurricular activities like personality enrichment classes. The
forthcoming article will discuss both merits and as well as demerits
before I make my final verdict.

On the one hand, the main benefit of engaging oneself in other activities
before going to an institution after school life is to improve the mental
state. In other words, the student works hard, keeping in perception the
desire to get good marks, which puts the burden on his mind. The
student is delighted when the result of the examination comes as per his
expectation. At such times, wandering around a place helps the ability of
a child to recover. For example, many children travel in the hilly areas
with their parents and friends, especially after intermediate
examinations; the main reason is brain regeneration. Thus, keeping a
short distance after the end of schooling before going to college leads to
intellect rebuilding.

Nevertheless, having a long break from school life leads to a lack of

interest in studying. Put differently, for students who put too much
distance into the end of school and the beginning of university activity,
their attention does not go beyond the time they spend in their spare
time. However, engaging in extracurricular activities gives children the
knowledge to live life realistically, proving to be very beneficial in building
their careers. For instance, companies provide jobs to employees while
focusing on their ability to handle the various good and bad situations
that come their way. Hence, despite the disadvantages of having
differences in learning, there are advantages like increasing its internal
capacity.

In conclusion, after discussing the aforementioned statements, I think

that the gap between intermediate and college education has advantages
and minor disadvantages. Therefore, the difference between studying is
mandatory for brain reincarnation.

Some people think that all the lawbreakers should be taken into the
prison, while others believe that there are better alternatives. (for
example, doing some work or learning some skills in the community).
Discuss both views and give your opinion.

According to a set of individuals , persons who do not obey the rules laid
by the constitution should be sent to the police station ,whereas, others
opine that instead of arresting them, there are some other ways to teach
them the norms like allowing community work etc.,The following
paragraphs will outline both the viewpoints and place my opinion.

On one hand, the reasons given by the people who say that lawbreakers
should be sent to custody are as follows.Firstly, taking these individuals
to the police station will make them come out as good human beings. For
example, prisoners are made to work for themselves and are paid in
jails. This way a burglar can understand how hard is to earn money and
will never try to do that again in his entire life.Secondly, the interpersonal
skills they learn as a part of prison life will make them realise their
capabilities and they perhaps can start earning after coming out.For all
these reasons, I opine that sending a wrongdoer to the police is the best
way.

On the other hand, some persons in the public believe that making the
criminals suffer in front of the local public will make them realise their
mistake and feel the guilt very soon. For instance, by making the thief
who entered a community to make theft as a watchman can install a sort
of responsibility in him and visualize his mistake.Besides this, some
persons rob because they are not educated and they do not have
another source of income.By helping these individuals by teaching them
art or skill can make them earn a living and stop doing robbery again.

To conclude, both the masses produce valid reasons for their

opinions .However, I feel that sending the lawbreaker to prison is the
right way to make him know his mistake and thus instil fear in him so
that he can never attempt any unlawful act in his life once more.

Some people think that a sense of competition in children should be

encouraged. Others believe that children who are taught to co-
operative rather than compete become more useful adults. Discuss
both views and give yours own opinion.

Few individuals contend that students must develop competitive

attitudes to excel in their future endeavours. Whereas opponents
advocate that they should learn co-operation rather than a skill to defeat
their counterparts. I will shed light on both viewpoints and I am in the
favour of health competitions.
To begin with, there are many positives of having a sense of surpassing
each other in the school. Children do hard work to compete with their
peers in studies that ultimately improve the overall standard of
education. For instance, if classmates want to beat their colleagues'
performance, they need more diligence which enhances the grades of the
whole class. Moreover, young ones are learning an important skill in
order to excel in the highly competitive world. As they have to face
challenges in the future where they will have to exhibit their
individualism.

On the contrary, there are enormous benefits of seeking co-operation

instead of competition. First and foremost, cooperative people are more
sympathetic who care about others in spite of harming them for their
victory. Secondly, this phenomenon can bring harmony to the already
polarized world which would decrease the chances of dangerous wars
among rival nations. For example, the leaders who are brought up in a
cooperative environment can negotiate with their opponents for the give
and take so that fatal conflicts can be avoided.

In conclusion, I believe that even though the attitudes of co-operation

are pivotal to minimize differences in society, constructive competitions
are equally important for social and economic development. Educators
should focus on both strategies so that a fine balance should be
maintained.

The prevention of health problems and health illness is more important

than treatment and medicine. Government funding should reflect this.
To what extent do you agree.

There are a plethora of health issues these days, avoidance of this is vital
rather than curing with a remedy or therapy. Government must disburse
the finances toward it. I strongly agree with this statement and will
elaborate on my views on this in the following essay.

To embark on, healing and restoring health conditions is always followed

by the doctors since the beginning, but not all illnesses can be cured.
There are a lot of viruses that cannot be cured instead they spread widely
without knowing costing many lives. This has increased nowadays, and
scientists or medical researchers found it difficult to stop. For example,
there was a spread of the Ebola virus in the North-American region where
doctors could not figure out the proper medication for it which costed
many lives. It may be more difficult in future to prohibit these diseases.

In addition to it, there is a lack of required vaccine for immunity that can
protect an individual from these diseases. However, it is expensive if in
case it is available somewhere else where an average person could not
afford it. Moreover, these vaccines are not effective to withstand a virus
or a disease that can spread easily. Governments should focus on
preventing individuals rather than affording too much on the remedies
which could cure a person. This can be only done if excessive funds are
released for this prevention. For instance, if the vaccines are provided for
free or at a low cost, everyone can take them. Thus, one can be
prevented by these illnesses. I strongly agree that this should happen
rapidly to avoid major losses or sudden deaths because of these health
issues.

In conclusion, It is agreeable that government should release a plethora

of funds for vaccination to prevent one from these diseases or viruses
rather than concentrating on therapies or medication. It is recommended
that this should be followed in an organized way so that everyone would
have access to it.

Many countries face the problem of low voter turnout in their

democratic elections. What are the problems associated with it and
suggest solutions?

Voting is the civil right of all the citizens of the nation through which they
can elect a deserving ruling party. However,Low voter turnout is a
common problem worldwide in democratic elections because of apathy
in politics and mistrust in the government. This essay shall throw light on
the issues associated with a decrease in voting and possible remedies to
solve them.

Firstly, because of low voter turnout in polls, there are high chances of
electing an ineligible candidate who may be biased or can misuse the
power. Therefore ,affecting the democracy of the country.Hence, people
have to face the consequences of not participating in the ballot. For
instance,India is a democratic country with multiple religions in minority
and if an unfair candidate is given the power he may try to create
communal tension in the society.Secondly, ruling governance has the
right to change the budget and laws thus, affecting the economy of the
nation. Moreover, In the hands of unloyal authorities, the rich and poor
gap increases, as the rich will become richer with the help of the
government and the poor community suffers the brunt of a hike in basic
commodities and lead a difficult life.

Nevertheless, the problem of low voting in polls can be solved by

applying certain measures such as conducting awareness programmes
regarding elections, campaigning by political parties so that the common
public will get to know their party motives and agendas.Additionally,
gaining peoples confidence by keeping their promises will involve people
in polls. For example, if the same candidate contests for the second
time ,he will be judged by the promises he made and how much he has
fulfilled in his entire term of being in power.Furthermore, making special
arrangements for rural and disabled people will be beneficial. What's
more, keeping elections on public holidays will also increase the voter's
turnout.

In conclusion, low voting on ballots is due to disenchantment and apathy

in political parties.Nonetheless, this can be solved by effective
campaigning and gaining the trust of the public as this will help in electing
a well-deserving party that will be in favour of improving the economy
and helping the public.

These days, more and more people move away from the area where
they were born and brought up when they become adults. Do the
advantages of this development outweigh the disadvantages?

Undoubtedly, in today's fast-paced era, the trend of immigration has

been skyrocketed. The majority of young adults leave their birth country
while being matured. This phenomenon has its own boons as well as
pitfalls. Notwithstanding, following disquisition delves into both outlooks,
and subsequently explores why drawbacks supersede the benefits.

Apparently, the key plus point of migrating to a foreign nation could be in

search of personal development and quality of life. The fact is that many
of these youngsters might be born in a populous nation where the
resources of education, healthcare and employment are not enough,
which is the fundamental requirement of an individual to live a life with
fulfilment and a sense of achievement. Sometimes it could be possible
too that younglings are extremely intelligent and knowledgeable but are
deprived of getting chances to clinch success; consequently, immigration
happens. Almost one person from one family, for example, migrates to
the USA from India, seeking not only individual betterment but also to
fulfil their family's need. Secondly, these emigrated youth contribute to
the host countries' tax systems to a certain level, on which the welcoming
country's economy is dependent to a great level.

Conversely, this trend has seen a great number of drawbacks. The main
negative point here might lose such an intelligent professional to
developed nations, for the sake of lacking opportunities in their mother
countries. This is called 'brain drain when knowledgeable and highly
educated people migrate to a developed nation, and developing nations
could face a paucity of educative community. I believe this trend is not
beneficial for their birth countries. Moreover, at a personal level, many
younglings face inequality, racial issues, feeling of avoidance from the
people of the host country, which is enough to dwindle down a strong
person's confidence and dedication. A survey by GNA (Guardian
Newspaper of America), for instance, stated that, due to cultural
differences and racism movements, many people in the USA faced
emotional trauma and post-traumatic stress disorders, in the last 10
years. Thus, immigration is not always can be advantageous.
To conclude, having advanced both standpoints, there are numerous
benefits as well as demerits; however, I recapitulate that disadvantages:
brain drain and mental problems outweigh advantages: personal
development and qualitative life.

Many governments invest a great deal of money in space research.

What are the advantages and potential disadvantages of spending
money on space exploration?

Understanding the universe beyond the earth's atmosphere is an

interesting activity for all the countries across the globe. The majority of
governments around the world are spending a huge amount of money to
explore space. There are considerable merits and demerits to this
phenomenon, however, I will explain why the advantages outweigh the
drawbacks in the forthcoming paragraphs.

When we understand in-depth, predominantly there are two important

benefits I can think about. The primary being, space research can be
chosen as a career aspect for the growth of many students. Although
there are very few universities that provide this subject as part of their
academics, each space exploration agency is employing around 20000
people each year to conduct their research. Adding to this, we can be
assured to have a redundant planet to live, if the earth is destroyed in the
future. It is evident with the current pandemics and global warming
phenomenon, we can see ourselves in the next 100 years heading
towards the destruction of earth as a livable planet.

In contrast, there are considerable drawbacks of this research to be

highlighted. A huge amount of money is being dispensed to conduct the
research, without knowing the practical possibilities upfront. India has
spent 18000 crores, for instance, to construct a satellite that can explore
the whereabouts of Mars, which led to the failure due to some issue
related to gravitational parameters. Another point worth discussing is,
demotivating the other essential services that are required to keep the
nation's health on top of the list. The economical index of Bangladesh, for
example, has fallen below the poverty line last year, which would have
been focused instead of on exploration of space research, so that the
people of the country could have got minimum essentials at nominal
prices.

In conclusion, While a large number of countries are allocating budgets to

explore outer space, there are several benefits and drawbacks to this to
discuss. I personally feel like the advantages like creating opportunities as
an industry to many young scientists, a vision to search for a redundant
planet for living outweigh the disadvantages such as money wastage and
not focusing on the other essential services.
