Thank you for your recent application for enrolment in the course/s below at Global College Australasia (GCA) (CRICOS Provider
Code: 03564F).
We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you on the decision you have made to study and train with us.
This Letter of Offer becomes an agreement between GCA and you when the Acceptance of Offer Form (last page) is signed by
you.
We need to inform you that prior to the commencement of study with GCA, you will need to apply for your Student Visa utilising
a copy of this signed Letter of Offer and a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) that our office will send to you.
After GCA receives the signed Acceptance of Offer Form from you and GCA office has successfully received your fee payment,
GCA will send a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) through the Provider Registration and International Students Management
System (PRISMS). The confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) is essential for the application of your student visa.
ENTRY

• Resource fee of $1090 for SIT30816 Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (Cert III CC) includes Training Consumables,
Chef Uniform and kitchen tool kit. You must wear your full chef uniform for all your Cert III CC class and kitchen sessions
and bring your toolkit for all of your Cert III CC practical sessions.
• Students are required to attend induction where uniforms will be sized up. Failure to attend induction may result in
additional fees incurred for procurement of uniform and/or toolkit.
• A laptop or an iPad with WIFI connection is required for your study in any of the VET courses we deliver which you must
bring to your classes.
• If you are a student of SIT50416 Diploma of Hospitality Management, or SIT60316 Advanced Diploma of Hospitality
Management you must wear a black pant and a white shirt for all of your sessions. Ladies may wear black skirts. The
resource fee of $390 is only for your training consumables and does not include the clothing resources.
Please note that the study plan for students enrolled in General English, TESOL and IELTS Preparation classes will vary as per
their course start date. Student will get 2 weeks study break after 10 weeks from their course/term start date.

• All tuition fees are AUD and are due prior to commencement of each term, as invoiced.
• Instalment plans are available – instalment fees apply
• *Please note that the duration of the holiday periods depends on intake dates and the time of year.
• All fees listed may change from time to time. All students currently enrolled will be informed of any changes that may
affect their current course fees with at least 30 days’ notice.
• Please note that Course Fees cannot be received from enrolling students until the signed Letter of Offer and Acceptance
has been received by the enrolling officer
• Students have an option of paying the remaining balance of the course fees in full any time in the first study period.
Where a student believes that they have grounds for a course fees refund, students should:
• Submit a written request for course fees refund to the Overseas Contact Officer (OSCO)
• State valid reasons for their course fees refund application
• Allow 28 days for the money refund application to be processed by GCA Management
• GCA has a Refund and Cancellation Policy which ensures Compliance with the refund process
When receiving a written refund application, the Overseas Contact Officer (OSCO) shall:
• Present the application to GCA management
• Provide to the student in writing the decision and how any refund of the course fees will be calculated
• Advise the student of their right to appeal the decision of GCA management
• GCA maintains a complaints and appeals process in compliance with the Refund and Cancellation Policy
CONDITIONS
1.1 Refund applications will not be processed where the signature on the Refund and Withdrawal form does not match the
student’s signature as shown on other documents provided by the student for admission to GCA.
1.2 The date of the notification for refund is the date the completed form is received by GCA or date/time of email.
1.3 All amounts due to GCA must be paid before any refund is made. Any outstanding amounts will be deducted from the
refund due.
1.4 All refunds will be paid in Australian dollars $AUD, where this is not possible refunds will be paid in United States dollars
$USD.
1.5 An active GCA student relates to student who has been issued a COE and/or has commenced a course with GCA as per
their respective intake timetable.
1.6 A potential GCA student relates to student with no GCA issued COE or has a GCA issued COE but has NOT commenced a
course as per their respective intake timetable.
1.8 This refund and cancellation policy, under no circumstances, although related, is not tied to the transfer restricted
enrolment on Prism. The Principal Executive Officer of GCA reserves the right to review, on a case-by-case basis, the
release of COE of an active student of GCA.
1.9 Refund forms can be downloaded from our official website or acquired in person from student support services.
1.10 An Administrative/cancellation fee of $500 will be charged to an active student’s permanent withdrawal of enrolment for
processing of statement of attainments, certificates and/or other related documents.
1.11 An active or potential GCA student who wishes to permanently withdraw from their enrolment with GCA, will not be
refunded the initial application/enrolment fee of $230 paid to GCA.
1.12 The refund outcome relates solely to the course/tuition fee payable by GCA to a student as per the written agreement in
the letter of offer.
1.13 The resource fee relates to administrative consumables required for the training purpose of a student as per the written
agreement in the letter of offer. The resource fee is non-refundable if the student has commenced their current course as
per their respective intake timetable.
1.14 Where a student has encountered reassessment fees one or more units of competency in a VET course or one or more
ELICOS tests/topics/subjects will be fully refunded if:
A. The reassessment dates are scheduled post the applied withdrawal date of the DSCW form, and
B. The student will not be attending the reassessments.
1.15 The student is liable for reassessment fees incurred prior withdrawal date of the DSCW form even if the student did not
attend the scheduled dates unless compassionate and compelling circumstances are proven. Such can be a medical note to
justify no show of a scheduled reassessment.
1.16 A bank charge of $25 may apply to bank transfer where full or part refund is granted.
1.17 All GCA refunds will be made in accordance with the refund table and conditions contained in this policy as per below:

Where a written application is received for a Course Refund and Cancellation, GCA staff will follow the following guidelines:
• Should GCA’s Management withdraw its offer or fails to provide the program offered or terminates its course delivery
before or after the study period commences, GCA will calculate the refund amount according to the specified method for
working out the amount of unspent pre-paid fees.
• Should GCA’s Management withdraw a student from a Course because the student has seriously breached international
student visa conditions, no refund for tuition fees for the current study period will apply.
• Should the student’s enrolment cease prior enrolment end date for any reason, the student card issued by GCA will no
longer be active.
GCA’s staff shall ensure that students who dispute GCA’s student default or refund and cancellation procedures are provided
with the access to GCA complaints and appeals procedure.
In the unlikely event that GCA defaults, GCA will refund the unexpended tuition fees within 14 days of the default or offer you
an alternative course at no extra cost to you and accepted by you in writing.
If GCA is unable to provide you with a refund or offer you an alternative course, you will be referred to the Tuition Protection
Service (TPS), who will facilitate placement in a suitable alternative course or provide a refund of unexpended tuition fees.

and has not previously withdrawn; or
b) The student withdraws from the course at the location either before or after the agreed starting day; or
c) GCA refuses to provide, or continue providing, the course to the student at the location because of one or more of the
following events:
i. the student failed to pay an amount he or she was liable to pay GCA, directly or indirectly, to undertake the course;
ii. the student breached a condition of his or her student visa;
iii. misbehaviour by the student
An overseas student or intending overseas student does not default in relation to a course at GCA location if the student does
not start that course because GCA defaults in relation to the provision of the course at GCA’s location.
An overseas student or intending overseas student does not default for reasons of misbehaviour unless GCA accords the
student natural justice before refusing to provide, or continue providing, the course to the student at GCA’s location (natural
justice is accorded to all students of GCA through the provision of GCA’s complaints and appeals process)
Any refund granted by GCA will be refunded directly to the enrolled student unless the student nominates a third party. The
third party must be nominated in this Agreement.

Payment of Fees
Your Letter of Offer will outline the fees you need to pay when accepting your offer. Make sure that you read this information
carefully so that you know exactly what you need to pay.
Remember: You should not make payment to GCA until you have returned the signed Acceptance of Offer Form
You will be required to attend the induction day to gain as valuable information regarding your course. Should you miss the
induction day, please contact the RTO.
Please note that some materials and resources are generally distributed on Induction day.
All students of GCA, whilst holding an active CoE with GCA, must obtain approved leave if they want to travel overseas.
The approved leave process will take into consideration whether the students have satisfactory course progress and whether
the student is required to catch-up their studies during the college break.
All students who need approved leave must complete the Approved leave request form available from reception.
Management will deliberate and provide a decision to the students within 20 working days.
Approved leave will generally be granted if:
• If able to demonstrate compelling and/or compassionate reasons beyond your control.
Such a reason can be but not limited to:
▪ Sickness and/or injury which keep the student from attending class.
Students must provide a medical note.
▪ The student was summoned to attend a court case. The student must provide a copy of the court order.
• If the students don’t require any reassessment during the term break due to a satisfactory course progress.
Change of Address
During the period of your enrolment you are obliged as a condition of your Student Visa to inform GCA of any change of address
details as soon as you change your contact details including mobile, email and address and details of any changes to your visa
including renewal. You are also obliged to inform the Department of Immigration and Border Protection of any change of address
as soon as it occurs. GCA’s Management will maintain your contact details in its ‘Enrolled Student Management System’” and will
update its current information at least every 3 months.

All credit transfer for units of competencies of a course are to be approved prior issuance of a COE for the respective course. For
compliance purposes, GCA is not obliged to issue any CT relevant to the respective course enrolled into post issuance of a COE.
Maximum Credit Transfer that can be granted is no more than 50% of all enrolled units. However, where applicable,
management may make an exception.
Students will receive the approved units discount in the second term of the course relevant to the units. If Credit transfer or RPL
is granted students will be advised in writing detailing the amount of to be discounted from the tuition fee. Such discount will
be applied to the final term of the enrolled course. The approval will be at discretion of the Principal Executive officer and/or
the Principal Executive Officer. GCA is not obliged to issue a qualification based wholly of credit transfer.
Information Sharing
Information is collected during your enrolment to meet our obligations under the Education Services for Overseas Students Act
2000 (ESOS Act) and the National Code 2018; to ensure student compliance with the conditions of their student visa and their
obligations under Australian immigration laws generally. The authority to collect this information is contained in the ESOS Act,
the Education Services for Overseas Students Regulations 2001 and the National Code of Practice for Registration Authorities
and Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2018. Information collected about you on this form and during
your enrolment can be provided, in certain circumstances, to the Australian Government and designated authorities and, if
relevant, the Tuition Assurance Scheme (TPS) and the ESOS Assurance Fund Manager. In other instances, information collected
during your enrolment can be disclosed without your consent where authorised or required by law, this may include and the
circumstance of any suspected breach by the student of a student visa condition.
Your personal information (including the personal information contained on this enrolment form), may be used or disclosed by
Global College Australasia for statistical, administrative, regulatory and research purposes. Global College Australasia may
disclose your personal information for these purposes to:
• Commonwealth and State or Territory government departments and authorised agencies; and
• NCVER.
• Personal information that has been disclosed to NCVER may be used or disclosed by NCVER for the following purposes:
• populating authenticated VET transcripts;
• facilitating statistics and research relating to education, including surveys and data linkage;
• pre-populating RTO student enrolment forms;
• understanding how the VET market operates, for policy, workforce planning and consumer information; and
• administering VET, including program administration, regulation, monitoring and evaluation.
You may receive a student survey which may be administered by a government department or NCVER employee, agent or third-
party contractor or other authorised agencies. Please note you may opt out of the survey at the time of being contacted.
NCVER will collect, hold, use and disclose your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the National
VET Data Policy and all NCVER policies and protocols (including those published on NCVER's website at www.ncver.edu.au).
3.3 MARKETING, ADVERTISING & CCTV SURVEILLANCE RIGHTS for GLOCAL COLLEGE AUSTRALASIA
• Global College Australasia reserves the right to market its products and services using digital technology and print media. In
doing so, a student’s photo/s and/or personal belongings may appear in marketing/advertising.
• Global College Australasia uses CCTV cameras for the security of both its staff and students.
• Should a student not consent to the conditions in part 3.3, the student must fill in the Marketing checklist below and notify
the marketing officer.
• In such a case, the marketing department will ensure that your photo/s and/or personal belongings do not appear in any
marketing and/or advertising activity.

security of all students and employees as well as for equipment, academic records and other school property.
GCA does not use the cameras to specifically monitor students or staff however I am aware that may at times be

I accept the offer of a place at GCA and agree to all the terms and conditions stipulated in this Agreement (and below).
1. I acknowledge that all the information that I have provided is true and correct and any false or misleading information
provide by me may lead to variation or withdrawal of my enrolment.
2. I understand that my enrolment is subject to fulfilling all the requirements and conditions as set out in this agreement, I
understand that this is an offer letter ONLY and this is not a Certificate of Enrolment. I also understand that Global College
Australasia will issue me with a CoE only if I meet all the requirements for enrolment within the National Code of Practice
for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2018.
3. I have read and understood the all information provided including course description, course duration (study weeks and
holidays), training and assessment methods, learning resources and facilities.
4. I confirm that I will arrive in Australia prior to Orientation Day.
5. I confirm that Global College Australasia has NOT given me false information to commit to securing migration or education
assessment outcomes for me.
6. I have read and understood the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
7. I understand that it is mandatory to attend classes for 20 contact hours/week. Under National Code of Practice for
Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2018-Standard 8: Overseas student visa requirements, Global
college Australia will be regularly and strictly monitoring Course Progress and Attendance.
8. I understand and agree to meet the Department of Home Affairs (DOHA) student visa conditions.
9. I understand that I am required to obtain and maintain Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the entire duration of
my studies.
10. I understand that tuition fees may increase and GCA reserves the right to change the fees as necessary.
11. I confirm that I have enough funds to pay for my tuition fees and living expenses for the duration of my course.
12. I understand and agree to the course fees including the Application Fee (if applicable), Resource Fee and Tuition Fee during
my enrolment with Global College Australasia. Global College Australasia has also informed me correctly of the non-tuition
fees that may be applicable, including as a result of having my study outcomes reassessed, deferral of study.
13. I understand tuition, fees and charges are payable in advance of each study period 2 weeks prior to the study
commencement date and students are not permitted to commence study until outstanding tuition fees and charges are
paid in full, unless agreed by the college in writing for compassionate and compelling reasons.
14. I understand that I may apply for an option to enter a Payment Plan to avoid any late payment fees, and I understand that
this will require a meeting to develop a Payment Plan. Approval of a payment plan is at the discretion of GCA.
15. I understand that GCA may charge a late payment fee of $50 per week on any amount still outstanding after 7 days beyond
the due date.
16. I understand that GCA reserves the right to suspend or cancel the enrolment of any student whose outstanding fees are
not paid in full.
17. I give permission to GCA to provide information to my Education Agent or Migration Agent (if applicable) throughout the
duration of my enrolment with regards to course fees, course attendance and course progress.
18. I agree to inform GCA of any changes to any of the information provided above.
19. I consent to GCA validating documents I have submitted from a third-party, which may include, but is not limited to:
a. Medical Certificates
b. Statement of Attainments, Academic Transcripts, Qualifications
20. I have been provided or links to this material online of the following:
a. The ESOS Framework (including official Australian Government material or links to this material online)
b. The correct information of the course I intend to study, including the pre-requisite units if any for my course
c. Information of any work-based training I am required to undertake as part of the course(s)
21. GCA reserves the right to suspend classes or cancel the enrolment of any student whose outstanding fees are not paid in
full.
22. GCA reserves the right to provide details to an authorised Debt collection agency for recovery of outstanding monies and
any costs incurred both locally and internationally Students will be liable for all costs incurred.

in with Global College Australasia is superior to and/or cheaper than the Registered Provider or course in which I am currently
enrolled. I confirm that Global College Australasia has NOT given me false information with the intention of encouraging me to
