 Fallacy of
Fairness
an individual's attempt to apply
similar rules to everyone in
their lives. 
We are striving to get to a place where everyone is
treated equally.
And for many, this is interpreted as treating everyone the
same. Everybody is treated the same under such rules.
Fairness is also a word that is linked to equality. We
commonly think of fairness as being free from bias or
discrimination.
That is equality, treating everyone the same. And that can
be seen as being fair. 
 Equity means treating
people based on what they need
to succeed. And that
may not be the same as what
someone else might need. 
 We cannot just focus on treating
everybody the same because everybody
has not had the same opportunities. In
this picture, we have leveled the playing
field and removed the fence as a barrier
to all. Equity is about correcting systems
and removing barriers.
 Diversity
Diversity is the myriad ways that we are
different and similar, including those
characteristics that we can see and those
that we can't see.
 Inclusion
Inclusion is creating an environment where
everyone is appreciated for their uniqueness,
regardless of their identities. And they feel
like they belong.
