The transporter is equipped with pneumatic braking system acting on each bogie. The braking
system includes a double pneumatic circuit.

Wheel bogies (multidirectional steering):

The transporter is equipped with 8 wheel bogies. Each bogie is equipped with 2 solid rubber wheels.
All bogies are driving / braking (the platform is equipped in total with 8 driving /braking bogies). Each
bogie is oscillating to adapt the wheels to the floor conditions.
All bogies are steering and, each bogie, can steer independently. The synchronism is made by the
encoders controlled by a PLC. The machine is equipped with different driving programs including:
• Front drive
• Side drive
• Diagonal drive
• Front axle steering
• Rear axle steering
• Carosel

Lifting system / Axles compensation system:

Each wheel bogie is equipped with a piston that allow to lift up and down the platform and to make the
axles compensation to ensure the best load distribution on the floor, the optimal stability of the load and
the maximum grip of the wheels on any floor condition. The pistons are well protected inside of the
wheel bogie frame. The hydraulic hoses are placed on a special turning joint to avoid possible usury and
damages.

Driver place:

Seated driver place with cabin in close contruction. Cabin in positioned under the platform. Double
driver place on both sides of the platform available on request. Ergonomic seat with shock absorber.
Heating system and air conditioning available on request. Control panel equipped with:
• Ignition key
• Steering wheel
• Drive selector forward/backward
• Accelerator / brake pedals

Italcarrelli Interactive Touch Screen (IIT):

IIT is a multifunction unit that allows the operator to display information about the status of the truck.
The main features are:

• Machine self-diagnosis
• Display the driving speed
• Display the lifting height of axles
• Select the driving program (front drive, side drive, oblique
drive, etc.)
• Display the wheels position
• Display the center of gravity
• data logger function (each operator has its own password that must be entered in the IID to enable
use the truck. In the IID is recorded the log of each user so the supervisor can check the users
list).

Center of gravity detection system (optional):

The machine is equipped with a system that allows to detect the

position of the center of gravity of the load. This system allow to
identify the optimal position of the load on the platform.

Lighting system:

The machine is equipped with the following lighting system:

• Front and rear headlights

• Direction lights
• Flashing lights
• Driver place lights

Altre specifiche:

The truck is equipped with all safety systems required by law (flashing lights, reverse beeper, safety
valve, etc.). and solutions that allow a truck maintenance quick and easy.
These are just some of the features of our ITALCARRRELLI PM1000D. On request it can be
customized according to your requirements.
