DESCRIPTION
The aim of this study is to evaluate the effective transposition factor and near shadowing losses to be applied
in the energy production estimation.
The shadow study shall be performed by using the 3D scene feature of PVSyst® software considering the
following main inputs:
• PV plant layout (georeferenced)
• Orography of the terrain underneath the PV plant
• A complete list of surrounding objects such as:
o Structures (height, width, length)
o Cabins (height, width, length)
o meteo stations (height, width, length)
o overhead line poles
o transmission lines
o trees (height, width, length)
o CCTV system towers (height, width, length)
o any other surrounding obstacle
The Contractor shall apply the following procedure for assessing the impact in near shadowing and
transposition factor.
In this first case study, the comparison between scenario 1 and 3 gives the effective impact on the losses due
to the mutual shadowing between structures placed in different height and casted by near objects.
Transposition factor
In addition to this, another sensitivity for assessing the transposition factor variation due to the different slopes
of the structures is required.
In the following table, the Contractor shall indicate the distribution of the total number of structures for each
slope present in the site:
INTERNAL

-14° 4
-12° 11
-10° 25
… …
0° 220
… ..
+6° 30
+8° 3
After that, another series of further case studies for the transposition factor variation shall be simulated through
PVSyst®, distributing the number of scenario according to the minimum and maximum slope of the site and
using a fixed step of slope slope:
Finally, the effective transposition factor is calculated by the weighted average of all the transposition factor
simulated for each slope, multiplied by the relative number of structures.

showing the physical arrangement of the central and field stations with their sensors, pinout of communication
cables, description of the dataloggers.
Based on the aforementioned information, the provider shall estimate, for any particular analogical signal, the
elapsed time from the moment this signal changes on site (e.g. on the pyranometer) up to the moment in which
such signal is going to be refreshed on the SCADA's real time database. For this aim, it shall be taken into
account all the latencies the intermedia generate during the transmission of the signal.
The document shall explicitly confirm the accomplishment of the information requirements contained in the
document "GRE.EEC.S.45.XX.P.00000.08.014 Performance Ratio measurement and warranty for PV plants",
for class A PR calculation.

In particular, the inverter wiring diagram shall be structured with the following sections and related information:
B. WIRING DIAGRAM
Three-wire diagram with clear indication of main components and interconnections such as:
• Main power supply circuits and interconnections with clear identification of IGBTs, DC and AC
capacitors, filter inductances, fans. (with datasheets in the annex of the document)
• All auxiliary power circuits and interconnections
• All hardware protective equipment, such as AC/DC contactors, relays, circuit breakers, switch
disconnectors, Residual Current Devices (RCDs), Surge protection devices (SPDs), Insulation
monitoring devices (IMDs), and all other hardware protections required inside the technical
specifications; datasheets of protection devices shall also be provided in the annex of the document.
• Control and protection wiring connections, between all possible sensors (voltage, current,
temperature), control boards and protection devices. The placement of each sensor shall be suitably
identified. All hardwired protections and control circuits required inside the TS shall be identified.
• Communication gateways, protocols, available ports and main characteristics, necessary for making
available to the SCADA all necessary information for monitoring purposes.
