Issues of Society

Bullying
- Bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children that
involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated, or has the
potential to be repeated, over time. Both kids who are bullied and who bully others may
have serious, lasting problems.

Reaction:
- It shows abuse in freedom because it takes away other people’s freedom and
may lead into serious injuries if it becomes worse. A bully happens when people use
their power to push someone down and this kind of behavior can happen more than
once. Just like when a student died because he was beaten up a lot which then caused
into coma but soon after, that student died. Bullying is a serious offense especially to
children because it harms their future. This is due to parents disregarding their
children’s way of learning, which means that many parents don’t usually talk to their
children about their day and usually ignores them which makes the children look for
attention from their parents. Being busy due to work is not an excuse for them not to
pay attention to their child, because it is a parent’s responsibility to look for their child.

HIV Fake News

- HIV is a sexually transmitted infection (STI). It can also be spread by contact
with infected blood or from mother to child during pregnancy, childbirth or breast-
feeding. Without medication, it may take years before HIV weakens your immune
system to the point that you have AIDS. There's no cure for HIV/AIDS, but there are
medications that can dramatically slow the progression of the disease. These drugs
have reduced AIDS deaths in many developed nations.

Reaction:
- Many people don’t actually know that you can acquire HIV only through blood
to blood contact or sexual intercourse, simply because many people only think that
every virus or infection is all about spreading through the area whether it may be water
or air, because most people only cares about its danger not knowing that there are
certain limitations on how to acquire it. Maybe it is also because someone wants to
make fun of dumb people or uneducated people and watch them as they panic about
the situation.

LGBT Discrimination
- The terms lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) describe distinct
groups within the gay culture. The early initiatives for people who were gay focused
mostly on men. So, in an attempt to draw attention to issues specific to gay women,
"lesbian" is often listed first.

Reaction:
- I think people should respect a person if he/she is worth respecting for before
they judge. Though if other LGBT people want dignity then they should respect
themselves first so that they will be accepted by the community, although sex only
applies for two, male and female. I personally think it’s not wrong as long as they’re
good as a person.
