LAY-OUT OF SPEECH (20 points)
There is coherence and continuity of thoughts.
The concepts were laid and developed in a
progressive manner. There is a smooth
transition between thoughts and no abrupt
change of ideas.
CONTENT (20 points)
The ideas stated are relevant to the given topic.
The speaker fully addresses all parts of the task.
The speaker sufficiently provides answers to all

LEXICAL RESOURCE and GRAMMAR (20 points)
The speaker uses wide-range of vocabulary with
natural and sophisticated control. Rare or minor
grammatical errors are observed and could only
be considered as “slips.”
PRONUNCIATION (20 points)
The speakers’ intonation, pauses, and
articulation are intelligible to understand. The
pacing of thoughts, right pauses, and pitch
constitute clarity and break monotony.
PRESENTATION SKILL (20 points)
The speaker is confident to voice their thoughts
out. He / She has the conviction to make the
audience believe what s/he says. Hand gestures
are also used effectively. The speaker has
proper eye contact and body language to help
convey their thoughts.
