Qatar is the country that hosts the world cup 2022. The first Arabic and Muslim nation
that organize such a big event and Qatar absolutely not taking that slightly,
Qatar also had risen to the occasion to present its religion to the world (Islam)
through Quran recitations at the opening ceremony. The infrastructure that QATAR
built for the world cup is breathtaking with 8 stadiums and all the facilities for sports
needed. it has set the highest historical score in terms of budget, as we can see here
a huge difference between QATAR and the previous world cup hosted by Russia.
Moving how QATAR banned beer two days before the opening ceremony was a very
late decision for many foreign fans, for some of them Beer is like popcorn with a
movie, but they still get a beer outside the stadium at the fan zones at the Hotel bars,
Qatar thought that not allowing alcohol to be sold will create an enjoyable
atmosphere and alcohol can lead to disorder and that what has created that late
worried.
The LGTB’s flag at the stadium and acting unrespectable in public areas are also
banned in Qatar, many well-known celebrities such as Shakira, Dua Lipa, and Bellie
Ellish refused to come due to human rights and freedom issues, and the head of
security at the World cup said that <if you want to express your views on the LGBT
cause, do so in a society where it will be accepted. Do not come here and insult an
entire society>. In Islam religion, homosexuality is prohibited and this is an obvious
reason to act like that.
It is not easy to build nearly a whole city and 8 brand new stadiums only with the
local workers you have. that’s why QATAR has invited 30,000 workers mostly from
the Philippines, India, Nepal, and Bangladesh, but this is turning into a global human
rights issue, due to some reporters that claimed that more than 500 workers died in a
mysterious condition and how QATAR treated the migrant workers by not giving them
good treatment and the basics of propriety of daily life,(the life we are living here is
hell) said one of the workers. Qatar denied that by saying (we don't think that any
country can claim to have done in the past 10 years to improve the working
conditions and living standards as we did). Migrant workers reported that they were
treated in an abusive way and shocked by the salary was not like the one on paper
and sometimes they didn’t even pay to them for months, also they take passports
workers away to not leave the country or change their job.

Well that was what I wanted ladies and gentleman to share with you about the world
cup QATAR.
