BACKGROUND & GOAL

Background of the initiatives
According to alinea.id it was concluded that 85% (8.5/10) during the pandemic to
post-pandemic Covid 19 many users reduced their expenses for entertainment
outside the home. Subscription video streaming services (video-on-demand/VoD) are
one of the entertainment options that can be done at home. Usually users use
streaming services with friends, partners, family, even with new clients. However,
there are still very few platforms or applications that provide this feature, so users
still have difficulties if they want to stream movies or videos together. With this
problem, a solution is created by creating the Nobar Room feature on the Youtube
Premium application. Nobar Room is a feature that provides streaming services for
movies or videos available on YouTube to movies or videos that are on the user's
Google Drive together. Users can invite other friends using only the link. Not only
that, in Nobar Room there are chat features to video calls, so users can communicate
directly. It is hoped that this will support current user problems in the services
needed and can increase the number of users who use YouTube Premium.

GOAL:

Provide easier access for users to stream or watch together so as to increase product
sales (premium services) by 50%.
