friends who are currently
attending senior high school
regarding the implemen-
tation of mandatory ROTC.
I will need the reason behind
the implementation of
mandatory ROTC in Senior High
School and what benefits does
it do to students that will take
it. I would also like to learn
about the reason behind the
abolishment of ROTC back then.
I can gather information from
news articles, news websites,
pasts newspapers, and other
documents regarding the
implementation of ROTC then
and now. I can also ask my
mother and other older family
members who experienced this
program. My sister also became
part of this program so I will ask
her about it also.
Using the internet, I could
browse about the topic I want
to learn about, which in this
case is all about the mandatory
ROTC that the government is
planning to implement on SHS
students. Furthermore, I can
access these information
through the experiences of my
family, but of course I would
verify if what they are saying
are true or not.

them first before sharing it with
my friends.
As I said earlier, I would use
deductive organization of ideas
where I first pinpoint the
general idea of the articles I
read, then I distinguish the
supporting ideas connected to
the topic. If I would search all
about the mandatory ROTC
being implemented, I would
identify the main idea then
examine the supporting ideas if
they are accurate or not.
I can share the link of the
websites containing the news
and articles pertaining to ROTC
to my peers using social media
platforms. Also, I can now talk
about it to my classmates face-
to-face since we can see each
other in school now that there
aren’t any lockdown
implemented.
