ANTIPULUAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has confirmed the close link between health and
disaster risk reduction. SDRRM provides a basis for coherent action to facilitate building
resilience and health security in school and community, and enhance the integration of
disaster risk reduction in all subjects to manage health and related risks including for
disease outbreaks, as a key example of a multi-sectoral approach to disaster risk
management.

C. Curriculum Development
1. Integrates the Disaster Risk Reduction in all subject areas.
2. Integrates the General Health and Covid-19 health health and safety protocols
3. Provide hazards map, evacuation plan, and pictures of natural & human-induced
hazards.
4. School Disaster Readiness & Resilience Checklist, School Site Assessment
Checklist, and School Building Safety Checklist.
1. Limited funds for purchasing the necessary equipment to keep the school
disaster ready.
2. Limited funds for classroom/building repairs to make it safe learning facilities.
V. Recommendation
1. Continue to inform the pupils and teachers about different disasters and General
Health and Covid-19 health and safety protocols,
2. Participate in Simultaneous Earthquake Drill
3. Continue to train the pupils in Basic first aid and equip the school with the
necessary equipment to make the school disaster ready.
