Jet 9 Elite Training is owned by Marcus Beaurem who trains kids all over the Dayton
area. Teaching speed and agility, strength and conditioning, specific wide receiver coaching, as
well other football positions, and more classes, Jet 9 Elite Training’s goal is to pass Marcus’
knowledge to the next generation and train children to be even better footballers than he was.
Jet 9 is working to mentor athletes for greatness, and push them further, even past the height
of their expectations. Marcus wants to boost his digital media presence, and more specifically
grow his social media. Growing his digital presence is his main goal and would greatly improve
his public relations and marketing. One of the biggest obstacles in his way is his lack time.
Because of all the tasks a new company requires, he neither desires, nor has time to spend on
social media. While he has some personal experience with social media, he does not have any
consistent, and different week by week, contingent on how many people sign up for training
sessions. Marcus’ is intentional with his athletes and seeks to teach them to grow on and off
the field. Because his business is focused on him, and how he interacts with the athletes and

their parents, professional quality customer service is integral. Thus, Marcus’ reputation is
extremely positive because he seeks to create relationships with his clients. It is through this
positive public perception that he has been able to gain many clients. Word of mouth has been
his main means of public relations. One of Marcus’ clients even said,
“My son wanted to play tackle football when he entered 3rd grade. I was very nervous
as he is smaller for his age and I knew he didn’t have all the fundamentals needed. That’s when
I learned about Marcus and received a recommendation from a friend to contact him. From day
one, Channing had the best time working with Marcus. He actually wanted Marcus to come
over every day and would ask, “when will Marcus be back?” Marcus helped Channing achieve
so much and made me confident enough to enroll him in tackle football. Marcus became like
family to Channing. He would even attend his games when he could make it. Our family is so
thankful for Marcus and will continue to work with him to build his skills. Thanks Marcus for

Enhance U, GAC Fitness, Renegade. Enhance U and Renegade have easy to navigate
levels of football than these, and he provides a more personal session, because he offers more

gym at which Marcus works and trains is much harder to navigate and less
Jet 9 targets athletes, and parents of young athletes. This would include men and
women of all ethnicities. Additionally, Marcus specifically targets football players and especially
Wide Receivers. Instagram is good way to reach the athletes through fitness videos, like he has
been doing. As a selling point on Instagram, he should highlight his football experience and
should use his cheap rates and positive relations with children there. Through showcasing the
testimonials from the parents and athletes would be a great way to target these demographics.
A simple question post on Facebook or question and answer video or live on Instagram would
be a great way to gain feedback from these publics. Before, during, or after his sessions, he
could also converse with his athletes and parents of athletes about what more they want to see
from him, what they enjoy about his training, and what sets him apart from his competitors. In
client testimonials on his site, the parents mentioned how important it was to them that he
grew their child’s sports performance, but more importantly their personality.
Marcus’ goal is to engage in the next generation to be better athletes and people than
himself. In his marketing side, he hopes to grow his social media following, website, and
clientele. This can be seen through the training sessions and how the kids are progressing. One
measurable way is through what the athletes do in the future. For example, one of his athletes
recently signed to a college to play football. Additionally, he can see how many people have
used his website to book sessions with him. In the next month, a good goal would be that he

has at least 5 more sessions booked through his website and at least 2 brand new clients.
Because he is recently growing his social media, we will be able to see if this digital media
marketing is bringing in new customers, and catching people’s attention, or simply engaging
repeat customers.
