Dayton Couple Buys 70-Year-Old Global Family

Business
Zach Carr, his wife, and two young kids bring a bright new future for Safe-Grain and Maxi-
Tronic

The sister companies, Safe-Grain and Maxi-Tronic Inc. welcome their new President of the
company, Zach Carr! Zach and his wife are excited to make some big updates to the company, while
maintaining the same personable company. Zach previously was the Area Sales Manager at Medtronic
and Carr has always had a dream of owning his own
company. Still maintaining the quality and relationships
with its long-time customers, Safe-Grain and Maxi-Tronic
are looking to make a bigger impact in the Agricultural
community and even extend to different markets like
fracking, spirits, distilleries, sugar, and more. Through
rebranding, hiring a Marketing Director, and updating the
software, Zach Carr hopes to grow Safe-Grain and Maxi-
Tronic’s social media, as well as redesign the outdated
Grain Storage Bins website. This new branding outlook is good news for the
trusted company that will continue to consistently deliver helpful products like it has been for over 70
years. For the company, 2022 is shaping up to bring in the biggest revenue in the past 10 years, even
with this ownership change.
What customers love about Safe-Grain and Maxi-Tronic is their trusted, family-oriented
business, and while Carr is new to the scene, that will
continue. Zach Carr values his own family and hopes that
one day the companies will be able to sustain themselves
and he can spend more time with his wife and two kids.
His wife Stacey Carr is currently not significantly involved
with the company because she is at home with their 6-
week-old, 2-year-old, and 8-year-old daughters. Stacey has
a Bachelor’s in Journalism from Indiana University, and an
MBA in Early Childhood Education from Mount Saint
Joseph University, so, when she returns to the workplace,
she will focus on Public Relations, Marketing, and Human Zach and Stacey Carr With Their 2 Oldest Daughters
Relations.
