This journal article examines the relationship between complications during hemodialysis treatment and quality of life in patients with stage 5 chronic kidney disease undergoing hemodialysis. The study used a correlational analytic design with 166 participants from a hemodialysis clinic in Tabanan, Bali. Researchers administered questionnaires before hemodialysis treatment and analyzed data using non-parametric tests to determine relationships between intra-hemodialysis complications and quality of life. The most common complication was hypertension during treatment, while seizures and decreased consciousness were not experienced. The study aims to minimize complications to improve patients' quality of life.

1 Journal title THE RELATIONSHIP OF INTRA HEMODIALYSIS
COMPLICATIONS WITH QUALITY OF LIFE IN STAGE V CHRONIC KIDNEY DISEASE (CKD) PATIENTS TAKING HEMODIALYSIS IN THE HEMODIALIZATION ROOM OF BRSU TABANAN IN 2018 2 Method This type of research is correlational analytic with a cross- sectional approach. Data collection using questionnaires and observation sheets were analyzed by non-parametric test (Chi Square) 3 Variable The researcher conducted an inter rater reliability test (Kappa) with p < 0.05, which means that the researcher has the same perception as the research assistant. Researchers gave questionnaires to respondents before the HD process. When answering the questionnaire, some respondents read and answered it themselves, some asked for family help to help read, and some even asked researchers to help read. respondents for their participation in the study. Data were analyzed by non-parametric test with Chi Square correlation test and processed using SPSS for windows. 4. Writer Kadek G Pebriantari,IGA Puja Astuti Dewi 5. Population The population of this study were all patients undergoing hemodialysis therapy in the HD Room BRSU Tabanan in the period November 2018 with a total population of 166 people. sample selection by taking all members of the population to be sampled based on predetermined inclusion criteria. The inclusion criteria of participants in this study included: 1) Patients who had undergone HD for more than one month. 2) Registered patients underwent HD therapy with a frequency of 2x a week and HD duration of 4 hours. 3)Awareness of pre HD compos mentis and able to communicate effectively verbally well. 4) Patients who are ready become a respondent 6. Sampel The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling, namely by total sampling. Where is the selection of samples by taking all members of the population to be used as samples based on predetermined inclusion criteria 7. Type of Efforts that can be done is to prevent the occurrence of intra hemodialysis complications. If intra hemodialysis intervention complications can be minimized, the quality of life of patients undergoing hemodialysis can be improved 8. Resullt Criteria The criteria for participant outcomes in this study include: 1) Patients who have undergone HD for more than one month. 2) Registered patients underwent HD therapy with a frequency of 2x a week and HD duration of 4 hours. 3) Awareness of pre HD compos mentis and can communicate verbally well. 4) Patients who are willing to be respondents. 9. Recommendatio The average number of intra hemodialysis complications is less n than two complications (slight complications). Intra hemodialysis hypertension was the most common complication (52.3%). Seizures and decreased consciousness were complications that were never experienced by respondents during the study (0%).
