Objectives
The objectives of this course are as follows:
● Students will demonstrate their understanding of Productive Resources by completing mastery
quizzes and other assessments through Kahoot.
● Students will demonstrate their mastery of using ratio language by completing mastery quizzes with a
passing grade of C or higher.

Learning Objectives for this course will be assessed through the following:
● Assessment quizzes upon unit completion
● 9 week exams
● Summative Assessments

Remediation
Remediation for this course will be offered by office hours available during free period or appointment, or on
an as needed basis.

Grading Criteria
● 100 - 90 : A ● Homework: 40%
● 89 - 80: B ● 9 Week Exams: 15%
● 79 - 70: C ● Quizzes: 20%
● 69 - 60: D ● Final Exam: 25%
● 59 - 0: F

Feedback
Feedback will be provided:
 ● Every 4 weeks on the Parent Check In form that is sent home
○ Students will receive 2 copies. One is for parents to keep, and one is to be signed and returned
to the teacher.
● Students will receive progress reports every 9 weeks
● Teacher feedback will be given in several ways on various assignments throughout the course
including: Mote for audio feedback, Flipgrid for audio and video feedback, and Loom for audio and
video feedback

Teacher Expectations
● Assignments will be graded within 3 days after the posted due date
● Parent/Teacher conferences by appointment available
● Check-In reports every 4 weeks with updates on student progress and behaviors
● Additional online resources for course content and lessons available upon request

Mrs. Woods Social Bees is a private Facebook group for this class. This page is intended to keep parents and
students in touch with the teacher and school. This page contains reminders for upcoming school events, due
dates for upcoming projects and assignments, and discussion posts that students and parents can use to
communicate with the teacher and peers.

Students Expectations
● Come to class on time and prepared
● Come to class with the necessary supplies and materials
● Turn in assignments by the due date posted
● Check in with teacher after an absence for missed work

Students will be expected to:
