PRESENTATION, ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION OF DATA

This chapter presents the results of the gathered information based on questions

that were presented in the study. Further, the results of the data gathered were

presented in tabular form and was then analyzed, interpreted and supported by various

studies to demonstrate similar and different perceptions and responses from the

respondents.

1. The Profile of the Respondents

1.1 Age

Table 1 demonstrates the profile of the respondents according to their

age. The data revealed that most of the respondents are in age ranging from 17

years old and below with frequency of 20 or 40%. Ages 21 years old and above

and 18 to 20 years old are tied in rank 2 with frequency of 15 or 30% of the

total number of respondents.

Table 2 demonstrates the profile of the respondents according to their

gender. The data revealed that there is an equal distribution of male and female

respondents with frequency of 25 or 50% of the total number of respondents.

Table 6 shows the level of acceptability among respondents. It is gleaned

in the table the rank 1 is “Chloe is pretty.” with Weighted Mean of 4.0 or Very

Highly Acceptable, followed by “Jodie is talented person.” with Weighted Mean of

3.9 or Very Highly Acceptable, then, “Cholo is handsome” in rank 3 with

Weighted Mean of 3.8 or Very Highly Acceptable. In rank 4 is the “Chona is

beautiful” with Weighted Mean of 3.6 or Very Highly Acceptable and finally, in

rank 5 is “Cherie is beautiful” with Weighted Mean of 3.3 or Highly Acceptable.

In addition, the overall weighted mean is 3.52 or Very Highly Acceptable.
