Registering for courses can seem like an overwhelming process - but we’re here to help!
We’ve answered the most frequently asked questions about the registration process at UoPeople.

1. How do I register?
Registration is simple! Follow these steps to register for the courses you need:

Log in to the Self -Service portal Click on the ‘My Courses’ App at the left-hand
side of the home page and select ‘Register for
Courses’.

You will then see a personalized list of Confirm registration and that’s it!

You can expect for your registration to be approved a few days before the term begins.
Be sure to check your registration status in the ‘Manage Courses’ app for updates

Please note that if you are a new student or encountering a technical error and can't see any
course recommendations, select a course from the available courses based on the course
selection guide. The course selection guide can help you plan your studies based on your specific
program requirements.

While managing your workload can be challenging, your program advisor is here to support you
during the term, so make sure to contact them before dropping a course.

There are 3 options for registration changes, each available at a specific time throughout the
term:

Follow these steps:

‘Manage Courses’ on the left-hand side of the

5. I am a new student and don’t know how to register.


What should I do?
Don’t worry, during your first term the university will take care of your course registration for you.
All you need to do is sit back and check your email for a notification about your registration
(around a week before the term starts).
Once you’re registered, all your registrations will be available to view and manage on the student
portal.
Important Note: New students will be registered for 1 - 2 courses based on availability and the
required prerequisites of their planned degree program.
