1. Five persons were asked on the usual number of hours they spent watching television in a week.
Their responses are: 5, 7, 3, 38, and 7 hours.

a. Obtain the mean, median and mode.

b. If another person were to be asked the same question and he/she responded 200 hours, how
would this affect the mean, median and mode?

2. Find the mean, median, mode of the following problems.

a. Fifteen randomly selected business administration students were asked to state the number of
hours they slept Sunday. The resulting data are 4,5,7,6,7,8,10,5,4,11,12, 11,10,8,and 7.

b. The cost of 14 models of mobile phones at a cellular specially store during 2015 was as follows :
P5,500 , P10,200 , P8,300, P9,750, P6,800, P15, 500 P20,100 P12,700 P18,900 P31,200 P33,200
P37,800 and P21,300.

3. For the senior high school dance, there is a debate going on among students regarding the color
that will be featured prominently. Votes were sent by students via SMS, and the results are as
