Acknowledgements

This project consumed huge amount of work, research, and

dedication. Still, implementation would not have been possible if we
did not have a support of many individuals and organizations.
Therefore, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to all of them.
First of all I am thankful to Parag Human Foundation Trust for
providing me such a great opportunity to work with them and
contribute to the society.
I would like to express my sincere thanks towards volunteer
researchers who devoted their time and knowledge in the
implementation of this project.
Nevertheless, I express my gratitude toward my families and
colleagues for their kind co-operation and encouragement which
helped in completion of this project.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
PROJECT

Field Of Contribution
Mental Health And Wellbeing

- Emotional Health
“ Emotional health is a state of positive psychological functioning. It
can be thought of as an extension of mental health; it's the
"optimal functioning" end of the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors
that make up both our inner and outer worlds. It includes an overall
experience of wellness in what we think, feel, and do through both
the highs and lows of life.”

Problem Identified
A lack of support and acceptance regarding
“sensitive topics” concerning mental health of
individuals, causing them to experience their
problems more severely and sometimes a lack of
meaningful support, or the cost of it preventing the
individual from seeking the required support.

Learning Outcomes
Through my involvements on 7 cups I
was able to become a better listener, I
learnt to be more accepting of people
and was able to get rid of my personal
biases on many issues and understand
deeply the impact of social stigma on
the psyche of individuals and how
addressing equality and being more open
to people and being a passive listener
with unbiased opinion is a part of our
social responsibility, its our duty as
individuals and as a society to give
address the issue of social isolation and
the constant neglect to emotional health
and individuality of different people.
