GIETHOORN: You can take a train from Amsterdam Central to Steenwijk. From there
take the #70 bus to Giethoorn.
Most people get off at Dominee Hylkemaweg. Once you get there, you will first see a
bunch of boat rentals and boat tour
places. Following the canal you will get to where everything is. We went on a
Saturday, and it got quite busy, so I
would suggest going early or maybe during the week. We got there around 10. By the
time we were done boating, the
canal got really packed like someone else from above noted. Enjoy!!
