Reflection 2: Which of the approaches did you feel more comfortable using in your language

classes? Why?

Communicative approach because it aims to put students in a variety of real-life

situations so that they can learn how to use their language skills to communicate in the real
world. Learners will apply their innate language acquisition skills when engaging in meaningful
communication, that will help them acquire the language. If the teacher is always speaking, the
students are not. For students to achieve the communicative practice they need, the solution is
simple: The less the teacher speaks, the more students do.
