II. ADVANTAGE OF ONLINE DISTANCE LEARNING
Online classes are currently the type of educational system most education institutions use
these days. Here are the advantages of online classes in the Philippines:

 It is convenient because students can reach their teachers and classmates online
within the day.
 This arrangement offers flexibility because students can study anytime and teachers
can teach from the comforts of their own homes, without having to stress what to
wear and how to travel from home to school.
 It is the safest way to study right now because they don’t have to leave the house
and worry about getting sick or catching the virus.
 Students can spend more time and catch up frequently with their families.

II. ADVANTAGE OF ONLINE DISTANCE LEARNING

 Lack of mobile gadgets to use for online classes hampers a student’s education.
 Time can be hard to manage properly. There is an expectation for students to juggle
studies and help with household chores the entire day.
 Just to avoid catching the virus, both students and teachers struggle mentally and
physically as they try to adjust to this mobile learning and teaching.
 Students who live in the rural areas lack internet connection. Others have to climb
mountains, cross rivers, and walk for miles just to get signal or connect to free Wi-Fi
to attend online class or download modules.
The bills for electrical and internet connection double, as students stay at home and manage their studies. This also leaves
out street children who have no means of paying for their families’ basic needs.

As online classes in the Philippines take off, street children are the ones having the
hardest time adjusting to the new norm. Especially now that the educational system is
focused on technology-based learning, we can extend our help by looking for ways to
donate and fund children’s education. Take the first step in extending your help by
connecting to Child hope Philippines. Child hope aims to help street children and provide
education and other types of help they can offer.

III. FLEXIBLE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT

When people think of a flexible learning environment, they often think only of the
physical space. While it is true that the space is flexible in nature, there is much more to
a flexible learning environment than just the physical floor plan or furniture choices.
Modern flexible learning environments also address other elements of the learning
environment such as how students are grouped during learning and how time might be
used more flexibly during the day.

IV-PLATFORMS USED IN ONLINE LEARNING

 MOODLE

Moodle is the world’s open source learning platform. Moodle allows educators, of
any kind, to create a private space online, filled with tools that easily create courses
and activities, all optimised for collaborative learning.

 GOOGLE CLASSROOM
Google Classroom is a suite of online tools that allows teachers to set assignments,
have work submitted by students, to mark, and to return graded papers. It was
created as a way to get eliminate paper in classes and to make digital learning
possible. It was initially planned for use with laptops in schools, such as
Chromebooks, to allow the teacher and students to share information and
assignments more efficiently.

 EDMODO
Edmodo is an educational technology company offering a
communication, collaboration, and coaching platform to K-12 schools
and teachers.
 SCHOOLOGY
Schoology is a learning management system for administrators, teachers,
parents, and students. This cloud-based service offers tools needed to
create an online classroom. It is a great way to share information, organize
lessons, engage students, and connect with other educators. Teachers
have the option to create an online course, online discussion, or provide
tutoring. Teachers are also able to post assignments, quizzes, and links to
other resources. Schoology is a wonderful way to connect students and
parents to teachers. The look and functions of Schoology are similar to
Facebook. Schoology is available to individuals and school districts with no
expense. Schoology acquires their profits from upgrades that are available.

Users are able to connect to a safe location wherever and whenever.

Schoology's Values
With passion they strive to achieve academic success, be receptive to
new ideas, while collaborating together.Schoology’s values incorporate the
following five parts.
 Quality Education
 Listen and Learn
 Creative Innovation
 Collaboration
 Enthusiasm

V. SYNCHRONOUS AND ASYNCHRONOUS

The terms “synchronous” and “asynchronous” learning have
become ubiquitous in describing online learning although they
similarly exist in in-person learning environments. Synchronous
learning refers to instructors and students gathering at the
same time and (virtual or physical) place and interacting in
“real-time”. Asynchronous learning refers to students accessing
materials at their own pace and interacting with each other
over Longer periods
VI-BLENDED LEARNING
Blended learning, also known as hybrid learning, is an approach to
education that combines online educational materials and
opportunities for interaction online with traditional place-based
classroom methods. It requires the physical presence of both
teacher and student, with some elements of student control over
time, place, path, or pace.
VII- SOCIAL PLATFORM
 FACEBOOK Facebook is an American online social media and
social networking service owned by Meta Platforms. Founded
in 2004 by Mark Zuckerberg with fellow Harvard College
students and roommates Eduardo Saverin, Andrew
McCollum, Dustin Moskovitz, and Chris Hughes, its name
comes from the face book directories often given to
American university students.
 TWITTER is a free social networking site where users
broadcast short posts known as tweets. These tweets can
contain text, videos, photos or links. To access Twitter, users
need an internet connection or smartphone to use the app or
website, Twitter.com.
 LinkedIn is a social networking site designed specifically for
the business community.
 PINTEREST is an image sharing and social media service
designed to enable saving and discovery of information on
the internet using images, and on a smaller scale, animated
GIFs and videos, in the form of pinboards.
 INSTAGRAM At this point, you may be thinking: Why do I
need a separate app for sharing photos? Couldn't I just post
them to Facebook or another social network? One reason for
Instagram's popularity is its simplicity. Rather than focusing
on a lot of different features, Instagram has one core feature,
which makes it especially easy to share photos and see
photos from your friends.

 Filters are another reason people like using Instagram.

Site and portals
I. INTRODUCTION
Educational sites make learning more enjoyable and appealing to students,
which is very important in today’s world. It is critical to use instructional
websites since every student can be certain that the material provided is
accurate. Educational sites usually have highly professional editors who
deliver accurate information and quote reliable sources. Reading and
understanding the experiments offered can help students to improve their
critical thinking skills. People can open educational sites and use the services
or obtain information, which is one of the essential components in the
importance of a website in the business. One of a teacher’s most important
responsibilities is to foster an enquiring mind. The most important thing is to
instill a lifelong love of study, whether it’s science, humanities, or anything
else. This is the foundation of a happy existence and something that
everyone should learn to the best of their abilities. A well-designed website
can help to make a positive first impression on potential customers. This will
help in nurturing leads and increasing conversions. It is more crucial than it
gives a positive user experience and assists the website visitors. Schools and
educational institutes can use a website builder to create websites of their
own. While in the other hand An education portal is a specially designed
website that provides a host of educational services. The term portal was
historically used to describe a port or location of multiple loading and
offloading activities. It is now used most widely to describe a multi-function
website that includes public and private sections, data retrieval and
submissions tools, personalized content, and often links or connections to
education related systems or services. The ability to provide personalized,
user-specific content is central to the core functionality of an education
portal. The technology required to support this type of website structure
became widely available in the mid 1990s, with the advent of user
management functionality as part of a web server. There are two ways to
provide this content: a series of template forms or the use of a content
management solution. A public website typically provides a range of general
information about the school, programs, course, history, and admissions.
Users are encouraged to refer to the website instead of contacting the
school directly for general information. The content manager is responsible
for reviewing and publishing content that is accurate, relevant, and easy to
locate.

Audacity is a free and open-source digital audio editor and recording application
software, available for Windows, macOS, Linux, and other Unix-like operating
systems.[4][5] The project was started in the fall of 1999 by Dominic Mazzoni and

as of version 0.8.[8][9] As of March 2, 2022, Audacity is the most popular
