The service-learning project helped me to investigate more areas that I wanted to improve, and it

helped me to realize that most of us can contribute with others even when do want to volunteer.

It also helped me to incorporate the concepts that we discuss in class such as create more

interaction with other circles of people and gain more experience about other cultures.

This assignment helped me to be more organize with my time and be more empathetic towards

the people out there. This assignment made an impact in me because of the amount of gratitude

you get just when you go there and the great people that are in the kitchen that are fantastic to

work with.

This assignment relates to other Gen Ed courses by teaching the techniques to better approach

people and understand that at times history and the background of a person matter and is

important to learn rather than to jump into conclusions and create negative stereotypes.
