What significant learning insights did you gain
from the course?

I can consider it to myself as a very relevant
help in addressing the challenges and trials in
becoming an adept 21st century educator. All the
inputs and takeaways I have learned from the
discussions and open forums were valuable and
remarkable insights than can help me in assessing
myself in further improving my skills and abilities
as a classroom teacher. I believed that I still have
a lot of things needed to be learned in this field
and being able to be part of the Guro21 program is
a big help in achieving the goals of personal and
professional growth that I desire.
I can say that it is very applicable all the
insights I learned from the modules because it
caters the needs of the current situation of
education. Especially that being a 21st century
teacher the need to equipped oneself in the field of
ICT is necessary. To be competitive requires one
to be educated as to what are the latest trends in
the teaching pedagogies and strategies. The
content of all the modules is informative and very
timely that I can see some answers to the
questions I am facing today. For me, clearly the
program has served its purpose because it aids to
the needs and challenges of a teacher by providing
understandable and efficient knowledge that is
very applicable to the teaching profession.
It is clear to me that there are indeed a lot of
realizations I discovered upon completing this
program. There are many insights I found
valuable and meaningful. But what I discovered
most is beyond the takeaways that the modules
have made me realized. It is the self-realization
that above all you can do greatness in this
profession if you do your part with a big heart.
You put love and passion in this very demanding
and boring responsibilities of nurturing young
minds. This is a lifetime commitment that requires
service and dedication to make a difference not
just in the community but in the whole world as
well. It is vivid to my understanding that being a
teacher, I can make a difference, I can influence
someone’s life and help it to become better.

What challenges or difficulties did you
experience during the course?
What areas related to 21st Century teaching and
learning do you still need to improve on and
why?
What can you say about your overall
experience (i.e., comment on chat, forum,
course requirements, FLT competency, and the
online modality)?
I am a captain that can help my learners in
reaching their destinations in life. Helping them to
discover and unveil their full potentials and setting
them as an asset of the society in the future. It is
an uneasy and a tough responsibility, but I set
myself to endure it as I have realized that I am
married to this profession and there is no other
way to spend it over my lifetime than to do it with
passion and commitment and that I may be able to
leave a legacy that I can be proud of before I
vanished in this world.
I can say that content wise and in
understanding the modules there is no difficulty
that I have encountered for our FLT was able to
discuss and share to us the inputs and forums with
high mastery of instruction and clear explanations.
Also, I am glad that during the whole duration of
the class forums and virtual sessions we are able
to feel light and at peace. That helps us a lot to
effectively gain the inputs and insights in an easy
way.
I can consider the only challenge I have faced
during the conduct of the program are the
technical factors like the efficiency of the internet
connectivity which is essential because everything
is done virtually through virtual platforms. The
failure of good connection means not coping up
some ideas as the session progresses every
meeting. Weak internet connection also made me
join the virtual meetings as late.
As I assessed myself, I can consider that I still
need to improve my skills in the field of ICT even
though I have already acquired knowledge from
and skills from the different seminars and
workshops I have participated but still there is a
lot that I need to be learned. I need to learn more
so that I can become an efficient information
literate teacher.
With utmost joy, I am grateful and privileged
that I was given the chance to be part of this
outstanding program. I have learned a lot of new
knowledge that can equipped me to further
develop my professional and personal ability as an
 educator. To the whole process of the entire
forum, I found it very interesting the chat room,
the interaction with my co- learners. My salutation
and appreciation to our very adept FLT Doc. Josie
for sharing her expertise and dedication
throughout the whole sessions. The undertakings
we learned from her really guided and served as
our inspirations to be the best version of being a
21st century teacher.
